β β β β β thankful for the outstanding service we received. special shout out to the two male staff on the ground who were good natured, friendly and approachable when we were there on thursday, as well as the female staff at the first counter in the room thatβs all the way at the end who processed our application in a prompt and efficient manner (i canβt remember her name, sorry). all in all it was a wonderful experience for our first time at HDB hub.

β β β β β For a big hub processing all our public housing mattersβ¦ iβm sure HDB can affording upgrading the toilets in their building. poorly maintained, not exactly clean or pleasant smellingβ¦. no soap in the dispenser and the taps are the old press down type that is obviously past itβs lifespan. was very grossed out bringing my kid to use the toilet. ?

β β β β β Their Customer Service Managers are really "superb", not just simple issues take from 1 to 3 months to resolve, can still "throw tantrum" at me when they didn't even get their facts right.
And there is no way I could complain about these Customer Service Managers as HDB website keep referring you to their feedback forms which will still go back to the Customer Service Department.

β β β β β They not only failed to solve the problem (of a stall occupying seats meant for patrons), but instead ended up emboldening even worse behaviour despite photo evidence already provided:
After repeated useless actions by their Senior Technical Executive Abdul Malek Bin Abdul Rahman of having "contacted and spoke to the eating house operator again who advised his stallholder and apologise on behalf", it reached the point where the stall actually jumped in on his inadvertent idea of starting to use items to reserve the whole table instead.
Whereas their Commercial Properties Manager, Safeenah A Haniffa took almost 3 weeks to do practically nothing except just reply "With respect to the behaviour of the stall operators, we regret that HDB has no purview in the matter".

β β β β β With the appointment system, getting my business done there is so fast and easy.
I was informed to report 15 minutes before time and I was early. I was not allowed in until the stipulated timing. Once in and gotten a queue number, I was called on time. Precisely the appointment time!
Although HDB aims to finish my business in 30 minutes, the professionalism of the executive took me less than that
In general, the appointment system cuts waiting time a lot.
