β β β β β Very Honest Money Changer and the staffs too.
I withdraw 1k sgd from ATM and wanted to change sgd500 to hkd. But I mistakenly gave them all the 1k which I withdraw, I forgot to keep the $500. I told him here is 500sgd, change it to hkd. He counted and told me there is 1k mdm, not 500$. Then only I realized I forgot to take out the 500$. Then he smiled and said 'here is ur 500$ back mdm'. I was very impressed.
I have seen all kind of funny business at other Money Changers. Will always come here

β β β β β I was charged 20% extra (lost 20% of the value) because I had small bills. The worst part is I only saw when he completed the transaction, he didn't tell me anything about the 20% surcharge. When I asked why only 1.4 instead of 1.6 he said 'small bills'. If you don't give the rate on the screen you should tell your customer if he accepts the transaction, not steal 20% of his money. Terrible experience and will never go again.

β β β β β No integrity. Not trusthworthy. Dishonorable. I called and he tells me 1.385/usd. Because of that i travelled down to change. After i took time to reach the place he quoted 1.388/usd. By doing so, he earned extra $3. He told me between the time i called to the time i travel down the rate has changed. But it is a Saturday. The way money changer works is their cost is locked in at fixed FX rates for different batches. He wouldnt have lost money even if he honored the rate. Bottomline - dont trust the rates he quote. It may sound good to hoax you down but it will be more expensive when you are there. Never going back.
