This is to share my personal experience with GrabFood Singapore on Friday 5 July 2019. The food I ordered from GrabFood is from “Hua Zai HK Style Roasted Delight Rice & Noodle (Sembawang Outlet). It is located at: Blk 463 Sembawang Drive, Sembawang Riverlodge, #01-01, Singapore 750463. This food store have several branches in Singapore. I ordered a whole roasted duck as well as 1/2 kg (500 grams) of Char Siew via GrabFood at S$ 40.50 Nett (after using a S$20 Grab Coupon) for my family. When the food arrived and my mum open the packing, she found that the Char Siew is “extremely little” and suspected something is amiss. She then contacted me and I rushed home to attend to the matter. I then took out my “Digital Weighing Machine” and found out to my horror that the Char Siew only weigh “360 grams”. I contacted Grab Hotline and was told to file an “online customer service support”, which I do so later. As the food shop is nearby my house, I took the whole food package and paid them a visit. The shop staff don’t seemed to be bothered to my complain and directed me to call their person-in-charge (PIC). After several attempts, the PIC finally answered my phone call. The food menu has indicated 1/2 Kg (i.e. 500 grams) for the Char Siew and why I am only given 360 grams? This is a shortage around 25%. At the end, the food shop finally gave me a “300 grams of Char Siew” as a “make up” after a long wait around 30 minutes. This case shouldn’t have happened. It is unknown and remain a question mark whether the food stall staff or the Grab delivery boy has short-changed or taken my “Char Siew” initially. A lot of time and effort have been wasted on this matter if the related party are sincere doing business ethically.

Got cheated by the stall. Ordered and paid $2.20 for extra chicken but when I opened my packet of noodles - they did not add the extra meat. Really dishonest/forgetful staff/stall.

One of my favourite places for roast meat, soya sauce chicken, dumplings (shui jiao), roast duck and charsiew. This time, we had the soya sauce chicken plus roast meat noodles for $4, and a dumpling horfun for $3. The roast meat was tender, with a crispy layer of skin. It gives the roast meat signature flavour without being too salty. Soya sauce chicken was delightfully slippery, with a layer of sauce on the skin. The dumplings each had a whole prawn in them, and some black fungus for a bit of crunch. Super value for money. Feel free to order anything you fancy off the menu, they do almost all the dishes offered well. By the way, you may get a bit thirsty after the meal, so it may be good to plan to get a barley drink or something. Nonetheless, it's a small price to pay for such delicious roasts.

Tampines St 81 outlet. If there is a zero star option, I would gladly swiftly click it. The mindless worker just any-o-how scooped the chicken rice amount, such that the first packet had much more rice than the second/third packet!!! Horrific cheating in progress. Broad daylight robbery. Shame on them.

Awesome char siew and roast pork!! I asked for the fatty char siew. It was sweet, sticky and fatty melt in your mouth char siew. Balance it off with the salty roast pork. Perfect for a carnivore diet. :D Also I paid $10 for a 2-person portion of char siew and roast pork platter and he gave a lot! Worth it! And there's also free soup made from the trimmings of the chicken, duck and pork. Free to take yourself. Oh and the chilli is good. Spicy and has enough chilli and garlic in it.

Outlet @ Blk 631, Hougang Ave 8 : Was there on 3 Jul 2022 (around 0945hrs) to buy a pack of char siew, siew yoke rice. It was clearly indicated on the menu that my order was $4.50. I gave the unfriendly looking man $6 and he only returned me $0.50. When I asked him politely if the change was correct, he reluctantly placed a $1 coin on the tabletop without saying a word. WHY IS YOUR STAFF SO RUDE! I DID NOT TAKE YOUR FOOD FOR FREE! I CONTRIBUTED TO YOUR SALARY! TRYING TO PULL A FAST ONE?

This pathetic amount cost me $5. They used to be affordable till they changed owners/staff recently. Standards drop so bad
