Food and drinks were all good. Service was friendly and attentive. Will be back as often as I can ? Forgot to take a photo of the 5 cheese croquette on a bed of mushroom purée of sorts - but the flavors were mild and texture mushy, will not order again. Spicy Rigatoni was my favorite of the night followed by the first cocktail I had which was Pal by the Havana; it had rum, Dolin vermouth infused chocolate mint (which I couldn’t taste), Campari and peach liqueur.

Really good food, but price point of course you pay for what you get. Small-med portions. Great if you share! Extremely friendly staff. Visit their site for menu first as their happy hour ends at 6pm no longer 8pm, which was a disappointment.

I have to admit it, the lure of $3 fresh oysters during happy hours is too much to resist. So here I am savouring super fresh, succulent, umami-ridden oysters amidst the hippest crowd. I always thought that only French oysters were worth a special trip down, but the USA oysters proves me wrong. They are so unbelievably good and fresh, having a varied taste profiles depending on the species. Just trust the restaurant’s recommendation and order all types, and the oysters will be served arranged in increasing intensity in taste. The first type will be very light and mellow, great for teasing the palates and for first-timers. They are all good in their own ways, with the last selection being the crown of umami goodness. Just for the oysters, this place is a must-visit. Tiger Prawns is oh-so-good that I proclaim on the spot that this is the best prawn dish I ever had. The very subtle hints of spiciness adds the dimension and excitement to the wholesome taste of plump tiger prawns. And the smoky flavour of grilled prawn elevates this dish to another unbelievable level. I love Spicy Rigatoni too. It’s a good carb supplement to all the awesome seafood I have here. The tomatoes here are so sweet and juicy. The creaminess of stracciatella cheese goes so well with the slight spicy flavour of the sauce that the rigatoni is drenched in. Blue Crab Slider looks very good and the blue crab filling is very good. But the thick bun is not doing justice to it. It is too thick, occupying most of the taste profile and texture of this dish. The blue crab feels more like a condiment rather than the main star of the dish. As I had said, I love the buildings along the area of Bukit Pasoh, Keong Saik Road, Neil Road and such, so this restaurant is no exception since it rests within the heart of this heritage site. Despite a quiet Saturday, this place, with its quaint exterior and cool upmarket interior, manages to attract quite a crowd. Yes, this place is that popular. And amid the crowd, the busy service staffs still handle the customer requests like champs, maintaining their friendly deposition throughout. I’m falling in love with this place and I can’t wait to come back. In fact, I’m dreaming of going back there already. Thoughts: My first choice for seafood!

Came here cause someone recommended oysters and we ended up having a whale of a time with all the fantastic dishes on the menu! Every single dish hit the right notes, very balanced, and our feast ended off with a flourish when we took a bite of our very first gluten-free chocolate cake! And that’s a fun fact for those who are on a gluten-free diet, there’s an option to choose gluten-free for most of the dishes here. What we ordered: 5 cheese croquette, charred cabbage, scallop ceviche, big eyed tuna, skrei cod, spicy rigatoni, flourless chocolate cake, and of course the oyster platter! All happening during oyster happy hour ?

Came here to try out the oysters, but wasn’t that satisfied. One of the “golden mantle” oyster smell unpleasant? Menu changes once awhile so weren’t able to order some of the dishes we wanted. The staff was attentive and accommodating??

Excellent place. The staff are outstanding. Very helpful, polite, and friendly. Love the oysters (you can get lots of them during happy hours). Amazing cocktails! Expensive place though.

Went here for the oysters & wine and ended up ordering a couple snacks in addition. The croquette was creamy & perfectly crispy, the grilled cabbage was absolutely scrumptious. Loved all of the oyster varieties we tried. Our server was so attentive and gave us some great wine recommendations!

Stumbled upon this place and no regrets! Had their oysters during happy hour and they were worth every cent. So fresh and delicious, a dozen was barely enough. Surprisingly their spicy rigatoni was good too! They definitely did the tomato base right. Their threadfin was also another highlight of our meal. Apart from the skin being more scaly than usual, the meat was tender and juicy. We all had food coma after that. Service was excellent and the vibe was just lovely. Would be back for their oysters for sure!
