Gaggan does it again! We had previously dined at his Bangkok locale, and the experience was just as good if not better at Mandala club. The menu is always a surprising endeavour that leaves you guessing throughout the meal, in a good way. Cocktails are also exquisite. Service is attentive but not overbearing. Five stars.

We sat for the Gaggan Anand lunch ($288++ per pax). Despite what the others had reviewed, I kind of enjoyed the whole experience. Indian cuisine was used as the baseline, fused with Japanese and local Singapore flavours. It was very strange and confusing to say the least, but at the same time wonderful and savvy. The creativity and effort put behind orchestrating each dish, it's truly amazing. Yes it's expensive, but it's an experience that I probably won't forget.

Dinner at Straits Parlour was lovely. Attention to detail, attentive staff. Stand outs were the udon which was apparently the chefโ€™s comfort food recipe and also the spicy tuna roll.

We came based on the name of Anand Gagan. The menu was kinda secret but itโ€™s good to get some surprises for the journey. Staff services are gorgeous and polite. Food wise is interesting to fusion the India cuisine with lots of different types of ingredients sourcing elsewhere if the world. We were particularly impressed by the first yogurt pop and also the โ€œcurry raw materialsโ€ . The clay pot rice ( three years of fermentation ?) was really good with the lobster curry for sure as well as adding loads of truffle on it. Overall we found it interesting to give a try on different types of fusion cuisine to get some sensational stimulation.

Not a fans of fusion food but gaggan name is all over the place for foodie. So here I am trying new taste. The first few dish are in one bite size. As itโ€™s a new food to me. Will have to think hard of what i am eating as there is no second bite. And most of the food are cold hence will have to adjust a little of my expectations of Indian food. Itโ€™s more of a experience of a Indian molecular gastronomy then a meal. Lighting and setup is very nice but a little too noisy. Having difficulty hearing what the server says about the dishes. We op for the wine pairing and all wine are good. We also top up for black truffle and carbon caviar which we feel is not worth it. As the caviar and truffle does not really pair with the dish and over priced. All the food are good on its own but we did not feel that we had a meal. More like a food sampling experience. Yes the service are top notch.

I was skeptical after reading all the bad reviews but I already made a booking 3 months in advance and paid in full so i had no choice! The first 2-3 dishes were just okay but it got so much better from that on. 18-course meal will surely fill you up but it does come with a hefty price tag $500 per person. Food was very creative, Indian theme with a hint of Japanese. I guess itโ€™s a nice experience but not mind blowingly good, so Iโ€™m not coming back. My $$ is better spent fine dining elsewhere.

I went to the 3rd floor of the Mandala Club, they are serving Japanese fusion food there, the food was amazing. There is live band at night and the place is very happening with a good mix of crowd. There is a lounge for people to smoke cigar, the ventilation is very good you couldnโ€™t feel the smell inside. Highly recommend this place.

A fun-filled menu, definitely not the conventional dinner fare. Food items are best described as experiential with a creative take on flavours and textures. While the price tag is slightly on the higher side, I had a great time thanks to a well put together menu, solid execution from the kitchen, a diversely curated beverage list and an infectious energy from the service staff. Will recommend not coming in expecting a "proper" dinner, but more of a gastronomic performance that will fill your tummies over an extended 2-3 hour timeframe. If you choose to bring a boring date (or worse, your in-laws, yikes), that's on you.
