I Love Nails - 211 Holland Avenue Holland Road Shopping Centre #03-03

Wanted to do my nails and just decided to walk in. The ladies were really lovely and my gel nails for both mani and pedi turned out wonderful.

I get that accidents happen.. The staff were nice and apologized. I came in to get my Apres Gel X Extensions taken off professionally. This is a soak off gel extension that uses Shellac to bond the gel extension to your nail. It requires a slightly longer soak than a typical gel extension but shouldn’t be any different. However, there was inadequate lighting and probably inadequate experience. The first manicurist tried to rip the extensions off my nail using her hand and cuticle pusher because there was inadequate acetone soak. I told her it hurt. So another manicurist stepped in. The second manicurist aggressively filed at my fingers and overfiled, causing a ring of fire (basically filing until there was no nail, and hit my flesh underneath). It cost me $40 to remove these, and a result of excruciating pain once I went home. $40 isn’t cheap - and I figured that expensive services = better attention and care. I had to spend another $65 on a maximum strength nail strengthener later on to cover up this open wound so that when water touched it, I wouldn’t feel the pain. I really hope this doesn’t get infected. I know it doesn’t look like much, but your nail beds are full of nerves! A slight touch to the nail or nail bed makes me cringe in pain. I wish I had gone somewhere else.... Also, the response to this comment by the Salon makes no sense. Stating facts. I have no issues with paying $40, I would’ve gladly paid this price, if it meant walking out of here without being maimed by a manicurist.

My daughter and I had an amazing experience today getting our nails done by the fabulous Denis! If you are looking for the most fabulous, professional, amazing nail artist you found her! The team at I love nails are exceptional and make sure you are well taken care of.

I don't know if it was because express manicure but the finishing was very unprofessional. I normally have no problem when I choose classic pedicure. Manicure didn't even last a day and you can see from the picture the work is very lousy. The lady this job was rushing to take a break time. I wish they provide same quality in express.

Really professional and friendly service. I wanted something that would be both creative yet minimalistic and love these results.

Lovely piece of work once again from Denise! This is the fifth time I go back to look for her in the last 6 month and never look back since! She is a very professional , nice and chatty girl. My time in the shop always pass so fast with her around . Highly recommended !

This is my go to nail salon at HV despite the many other nail salons in the area. Everyone is very professional, hygiene is top notch, and prices are very competitive, even if you don’t get a package. Of course, they have typical CNY and nail design surcharges, but that’s the norm as all Singapore nail salons have that. Unlike most salons, they don’t charge extra for quick-dry topcoat, which is a must-have especially for manicures. Denise is the all-time favorite and the reason is clear — she’s a superstar and all-heart! The only complaint I would have is that this salon is too popular, so book early! Well done Winnie and team!
