Absolute trash system, server and service. Worst broker ever. Also they stop you from withdrawing your money out from your account.

Called them several times as well for a funds transfer, but nobody picks up, even after 20min or so on the line...

put on hold 45mins yesterday (Monday ) still no one pick up! Today still phone answer "please wait for next available " for 14 mins already

STAY AWAY!!! Very poor service. 1 week after transferring funds, account still has not been updated. Called and emailed with details as instructed from the call. Few days later, no one responded. Called again and was told it will be resolved in 2 - 3 days. 3 days later and NOTHING WAS DONE!

By far the most comprehensive and best value for money broker available in Singapore -- the local brokerages look like amateurs in comparison and Saxo/IG etc are rip-offs on fees. Support is a mixed bag. On the one hand, as noted, wait times can be a nuisance especially on the phone (chat tends to be better) -- 20 mins is not uncommon. On the other hand, CSR knowledgeability is usually very good so a solution is usually quick to get to, and 98% of what you need can be found in their very comprehensive help database anyway. Most underlying account servicing processes are completed within 1-2 days vs weeks by the local brokers or Saxo/IG etc.

I had this particular CSO assisting me by the name of Perchanth regarding a technical issue and he sounded stoned and impolite, takes 1 hour to reply my every one question. Usually takes very long for a CSO to assist you, be prepared to be put on hold for a long time. Have been using IBKR for a few months now and they have the potential to do better.

i hate that IB is periodically down and you cant log in but they handle it so badly. Today I cannot log in, just like prior times, its a clear outage issue, but nobody is bothering to msg me or there is no indication of outage on their website. This happened a few months ago as well for a period 10hrs at a critical time of market volatility. Their updates were slow and customer service was atrocious. They were absolutely not forthcoming with any kind of compensation even though I lost money from not being able to put on my hedges. I absolutely hate their service but I believe they are aware, there are not many credible competitors offering the wide range of products

Needed assistance to access my account and the customer service guy was pretty helpful, so kudos to him. The IB key was very confusing to set up however. My call was directed to another person for issues with that, but the lady sounded so rude and was unresponsive when I had questions. I understand she has a job to do, but is there a need to use an unpleasant tone and make accusations? Especially when the customer is unsure and frustrated. Fortunately managed to get it sorted out via self-service afterwards. Online articles were way more helpful than the second person I spoke to. There seem to be issues with receiving SMS OTPs though, which make for a frustrating experience.
