β β β β β [update 2/3/22] would you believe it's been now almost 2 months since my funds were transferred out of my account? Can't sell it even if I wanted to. The last stock is still stuck with their custodian, Saxo saying it's been sent in January, their custodian also saying it's been sent. But nope nothing has been received.
Basically what's been happening via support (chat, call and emails) is saxo telling me to tell IBKR to check their emails, IBKR telling me to tell saxo to check their emails and so on.
Imagine doing that for 8 weeks, remember that to transfer out of saxo there is a fee, which I am rightfully asking them to refund back to me based on this experience.
[update 20/2/22: it's now been 6 weeks and my stocks haven't trasnferred across. Something about saxo's custodian bank not issuing release orders of my shares. Just remember that in that 6 week period I lose access to the shares, so I can't even sell if I wanted to. Be very careful everyone.]
So far it's been 4 weeks since I initiated a stock transfer out from Saxo bank to my new broker and it hasn't arrived. Stocks were removed from my account at the start of the transfer request and have been in limbo that whole period, means I can't even sell it if I wanted to.
Total of 13 stocks transferred out, first 10 arrived in first few days, the last 3 (HK stocks) have literally disappeared for the last 4 weeks. Their chat support keeps saying they are 'waiting for an email' from the other broker, which honestly can't be true because the first 10 stocks moved over without an issue, the other broker keeps emailing them as requested but still nothing.
Can't sell those stocks even if I wanted to as they are floating in limbo.
Chat agent is pretty much useless, just telling me they are 'waiting for an email' each time.
Do your due diligence before engaging them folks, am thinking of reporting them to MAS as some law must have been broken here.

β β β β β I was with Saxo for many years, they are not that bad. When I saw so many negative remarks, feels it really scare me. The first call after so many years was bad (she is a non SG local), but 2nd call with a local she by the name of Vernicia, she has patiently address my issues. I won't give it a five stars due to the eSupport is horrible, but certain wont be less that 4 stars rating, if you get the right agent to deal with your issues.
Saxo team please beef up your CS team and you eSupport is a total failure.

β β β β β Saxo Markets trading is a very user friendly platform for investment in Stock Market. The UI is very easy. All reports are available as needed. I have never faced any challenges so far with Saxo. Even their support is super responsive and professional.

β β β β β Saxo Markets trading commission/fees are attractive compared to other brokerage firms, esp the local ones. It also allows access to a wide selection of overseas markets or exchanges, as well as a huge variety of products. Both their web and mobile platforms are reasonably user friendly.
The Relationship Manager assigned to me has been very helpful and friendly, often going out of her way to reach me, provide prompt responses to my queries and information that I requested for. She even responded while away on leave. I am happy with the level of support provided.
The recent Saxo Christmas Trade Game that I participated in was most useful in trying out various products that I was new to. The demo system was really a most convenient and effective method to explore new products and markets.
Keep up the good job, Saxo !
