★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place and pretty ambiance. Look the set up of Isshin Machi and it’s pretty plates, dishes and glasses that is used to serve us. We ordered an Assam Milk Tea and Black Sugar Wintermelon Tea. Both were quite sweet but unique in flavour.
We also ordered 4 dishes, Beef Noodles, Chilli Pork Wanton, MoonLight Prawn Cake and Fried Chicken Cutlet. The beef noodles were very tasty and the knife cut noodles (+$1.00) were very smooth and chewy. We enjoyed the Fried chicken cutlet a lot! Very well marinated and crispy. Not too oily as well. Was a bit disappointed with the prawn cake. The outer covering of the prawn cake was not crispy. It was soft and slightly soggy. The prawn paste filling as very little as well. The chilli wanton was spicier than expected and the filling again was rather little, in proportion to the wanton skin. Would not recommend these 2 dishes…

The taste was not bad, was looking something similiar to Tim Ho wan. But I think shrimp and pork wontons will taste nicer.

Fried rice was great, 有蛋香味。However, the pork chop is tough and on the drier side.

This is a ???? ????? dish! Legit taste quite nice. Tho price is a little steep for this portion. One thing to nit pick will be the braised egg. It’s a little bit too dry.

This is a must order. This is a good combination of tea and milk. Not too milky.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice Taiwanese food at Katong. The service is casual and friendly, I like the lighting and atmosphere of the premise. The broth of the noodle is on the lighter side which I like, if one likes salty food please avoid and choose fried rice instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Consider as best Taiwan dish I ever had in Singapore. It serves quite number of rice, dish and noodle choice. The beef noodle is nice. Fried chicken maybe not order next time. Drink not bad also. Will back again when miss the TW taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic Taiwan dishes, great place to enjoy the Taiwanese pop music and chill out too. Must try - Taiwanese braised pork rice, filled with delicious lor ba, all the drinks are also really nice. Portions are reasonable too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Discovered this cosy spot at East Coast Road. The place is much bigger that it seems from outside. Love the murals on the walls depicting scene from Taiwan. Food is good and priced reasonably. Don't see anything more than $20 on the menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very happy with the food, the environment and staff services! Quite authentic Taiwanese food. My favorite is their beef noodles! The noodles are chewy and their soup is good too. The overall taste of their food is well balanced, not too salty or sweet. Will definitely come back again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very satisfying Taiwanese food served in cozy ambiance at affordable price. We enjoyed everything so much that we kept saying "Very good, very nice" after each piece. It's really good. Tasty and not so heavy thanks to minimal seasoning. They have some "vinegar" fruit drinks that also taste nice and may help with digestion - plum is my favourite.
