If you are shopping here beware. Any item that you want refunded will only allow the credits to be refunded back to your iuiga account. Major trickery to keep your money with them. Shoppers beware. Edit: 2 more stars for good service. Service staff was polite and that goes a long way. Store policy is still bad nonetheless.

Male staff quite misogynistic. After I asked questions about an item of furniture, all answers were directed to my father (even after reaffirming that the furniture in question was for me). Unpleasant customer service experience.

I really like this design and concept of infusing the essence into our hair without any mess. Finally, while I was shopping in Paya Lebar Quarters on 10 Apr (Sat) between 2pm-3pm around that area, I was so excited to find IUIGA there too. My friend and I scanned the SafeEntry QR code and went in; I "combed" the whole shop and found this Essence Infusing Hair Comb that I have been looking for, which CWP does not carry! I then took 1 box up and opened to see if it is the one I am looking for since there was no sample for customers to see, and started to have a small chit chat with my friend. Suddenly, a presence was felt; I realised that the Chinese IUIGA staff was standing about 1m away from us, folding her arms up and starting at us. We then went to the cookery area and picked up another item, and same, the staff was following us to that area too – same staring and arms folding. There were about 10 customers in IUIGA PLQ but the staff decided to follow, staring at us as if we were the only “VIP” in the shop? The staff went away only when another customer said she wanted to make payment. Long story cut short, we decided to make payments after deciding these 2 items. Earlier was just a teaser. The best "IUIGA experience" came. The attitude given to the customer in front of us was good and then when it was our turn, the staff made us feel we did not deserve to buy any IUIGA items, we should be buying more or it was a waste of her time and breathe to settle our transaction. We placed the items on the table; The attitude had a 180 degree changed from friendly to hostile and asked if we were IUIGA members. I said no, the Chinese staff said: “Then you have to download the app and be a member.” I asked why? She said: “Because this is not just a retail store.” My question to IUIGA. 1.Is this practice across all IUIGA stores in whole Singapore? 2.Is this IUIGA way of customer service to ensure “VIP experience”? 3.If this is not just a retail store, why a brick and mortar shop for random walk-ins? I ended up not buying because I do not think both my friend and I deserve such “VIP experience”, spend any money on IUIGA items any more since it is not just a retail store. Thanks for helping me save my hard earned money. PS: I was smiling to the staff at the cashier before her hostile customer service cap was put on. Very interesting and intriguing shopping experience in this 2021. If I can select Zero star, I will do so to be fair to the "VIP experience".

Realised that there was only one staff deployed here and the when staff goes on 1 hour break from approx 3-4pm, the whole shop is closed. Would suggest to deploy at least 2 person there so the shop can be opened at all times. Waited for it to open, and went in to enquire about the 4 ply tissue roll. The Chinese male staff was not very helpful and gave the very judgemental look.

Why is your staff always on a break? Both times I made my way down, both times you guys were closed. Google said you guys will be opened at 4pm. However, the staff break is until 4.20pm. Please seriously do something about it. Many of us made wasted trips there. Lousy management.

Bad management, there was only one staff working, who took a long break randomly sometime before 4pm. It's understandable that people need their rest, though they should really put two people on rotation to mitigate this. Ended up waiting 40mins to enter the store to buy a bean bag cover, and upon not finding it, I asked the cashier if they have any stock in store, and she said no. So I asked her if she can help me check which other outlet have it in stock, and she shouldn't even look at me properly when she said that she can't do that as if she had something to hide and didn't bother helping any further. It was not like she was busy at all, since I was the only one in the store at that time and she had no one to attend to. I only later learnt from my friend that I can find a virtual assistant in the account section of the IUIGA app, which was way more useful than the cashier. The person on the other end was friendly and helpful, and helped me to find out that all the stores ran out of stock of the covers for the colours I was looking for. The virtual assistant also checked if I had any more queries and ended courteously. Now my question is how come the virtual assistant can easily help me check the stocks, while the cashier cannot with the two shiny computers in front of her. If I am to give the benefit of the doubt that the management didn't give her to ability to (which they should) and she wasn't just being lazy, then why couldn't she have at least told me to check with the virtual assistant on their app??? The good service online is somewhat redeeming, and but if I'm to rate the storefront experience at this particular outlet, it's 1 star for the terrible customer service and bad management. Buy online instead

Non-existent customer service on a Saturday afternoon. Lone chinese male staff in the outlet. Wanted to check out a single item for purchase when he suddenly said its his break time and asked me to leave. I told him I'm just getting one item but he glared at me and told me to leave. Well so glad that I left. This probably wouldn't have happened if I was not forced to download the app to buy the item as that took out additional time.

The shop was closed at 4PM - 5.12PM even though the opening hours stated 4-7PM. Like many other reviews, it appears that the IUIGA staff does not follow the timing to go for a break - I made a wasted trip at 4PM only to find out the staff is on a break till 5.12PM. Edit: I went back to the shop and the lady Jolin was nice and hardworking.
