★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Korea fried chicken stall operated by a Korean couple - Another gem that I found in Toa Payoh.
Queue built fast up as early as 1145a when the stall owner was preparing to get ready to open at 12pm.
Chicken tenders were well fried and the ones we got was the original crispy and soy sauce.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t really know the circumstances around their name changing from “waker chicken” to Jade’s chicken. Been patronising this stall since 2 years ago whenever i craving for a decent (yet not pricy) Korean Fried Chicken. Taste still good. Their kimchi is to my liking. The Jajangmyeon is second to none!
The uncle could come across unfriendly but I don’t really care. I buy the food not the “people” when I go to hawker ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bird is definitely fresh.
Original fried chicken, tasted just like the ones I've had in Seoul, bland. The bird wasn't brined and neither was the flour seasoned. But thankfully because of it's freshness, the meat and the juices was so totally yum. The mustard sauce, a wonderful complement.
But $15 for half a chicken.... arghh

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honey Butter and Soy Sauce Chicken was 10/10. Batter was crispy on the outside and the chicken was fried till tender perfection on the inside (although 1 or 2 pcs were a tad dry compared to the others).
Jjajiangmian was good, not too sweet. However the noodles could be a little more QQ.
Overall, very worth the price for Korean Fried Chicken.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best and most authentic Korean fried chicken in Singapore! Owner is a Korean and suddenly made me felt that I was in Korea for that moment. Taste is perfect. But recommended to dine in rather than take away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wait time is a tad long but the taste, portion and price are all quite decent! Meat was juicy and skin was crispy.
2x half chicken was just nice for 3 people; chicken was mostly breast meat, but there was also chicken wing, drumstick and thigh meat as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time buying as we were curious to see non stop orders during our Sunday lunch at the coffeeshop. We ordered the original, $15 for the 7 piece. Not cheap considering each piece is quite small.
The chicken was were well seasoned and juicy and tender (including breast meat pieces). The light batter retained the crisp quite a long time; but does not have much flavor on its own. Big plus is that the chicken did not taste greasy or oily despite being deep fried, and definitely no stale oil taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprising find around TPY area managed by Korean couple. Chicken was best enjoyed hot and overall, priced pretty decently at $15 for half a bird and $29 for the whole chicken.
I ate 2 halves shared amongst 3 people.
The first bites for both honey butter and soy sauce were delightful with the burst of flavours, but the taste gradually became overwhelming with the generous seasoning added on the chicken especially at the parts where the dressing is concentrated. Drinks to pair with the chicken are highly recommended.
The honey butter powder isn't coated consistently, so parts with no powder tasted plain albeit juicy. I recommend dusting some powder off, before coating the chicken more evenly with the vast amount of powder.
