Best prata in the Pasir Ris. Long queues on weekend

Long queue for their prata on weekdays and early mornings. If you are staying in Pasir Ris West area closer to Elias, this is the prata place to go to, because the other Coffeeshop in Elias mall serves lacklustre prata and they aren’t really interested to serve you also, but for Jamirah, they are fast, brisk and constantly churning out great tasting prata for customers and the service is professional and personable. I recommend.

Love the prata kosong with the yummy gravy. The chicken nasi briyani is superb also. Only at times not sure why the rice were a bit soggy. Other than that was great! Value for money also.

Reviewing on the staple, which I believe is what most people are generally here for. I mostly visit for the prata. It is great if freshly prepared. Problem is, they tend to “standby” quite large quantities for lunch and dinner. The prata are usually still warm but is soggy by then. The staff are always unwilling to reheat the pre prepared prata, not are they willing to prepare fresh pieces when requested. Even special orders of 1-2 will not encourage them to prepare fresh orders. You may need to order upwards of 4 pieces, or visit during peak periods to have them prepare it fresh. The dhal and curries that can come with the Prata are often good. I find them well flavoured with a good consistency and yet not too rich or cloy. Other items such as mee/maggi/beehoon goreng and nasi goreng are alright. Quality can be inconsistent. But on good days, the mee goreng can be really quite satisfying. Generally, good quality seems to be a bit better in the morning between 8-10am. After that, it seems to be on a continuous downhill till it shuts for the day. Still worth a bet if you live in the vicinity, and definitely a better option than Mr Teh Tarik.

Very friendly staff and generous servings. The Kobis was a little salty for me though but overall we have enjoyed our meal.

Really smooth mutton curry to accompany the biryani. I’d definitely recommend. I do wish the curry portion was bigger - in comparison to the HUGE amount of rice (enough carbs for 4 days).

$1 for a kosong roti prata (without egg) comes with a small bowl of curry seems to be the most economical meal that can fill one’s stomach in this coffee shop :-) The team members are friendly and efficient in servicing the dishes. Not only do they sell roti prata they also sell indian rojak & different kinds of branis and their servicing is generally big and generous that worth the money!

I always have the Indian Rojak at this store at least once every 2 weeks. They have a decent range to choose from and it's price quite reasonably. They are also not stingy with their chopped onions and green chills. The ingredients are fresh and go well with the dipping sauce (which I always ask for a refill ? ) They also have the usual Roti Prata (which is always popular with the breakfast crowd), Murtabak, Nasi Briyani, Mee / Bee Hoon Goreng etc.
