★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the Good : chili, dark soy sauce and the minced ginger...the average :. Chicken, rice.....all let down by the soup, (it has a strange taste, no sign of cabbage ,tomoto)... The gizzard alas, prepared without removing the outer grey skin ?....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered half chicken , egg , liver , gizzard and bean spouts today. The sauce , rice and chili are very good ! Chicken is tasty and wish the breast meat can be more tender . Liver is ok but the gizzard is abit tough. Overall we like it ! One of the best and Will be back !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely not my cup of tea (or plate of chicken rice). The greatest takeaway from the experience is the chicken - tender and moist. However, I can’t help but to feel that maybe, just maybe, frozen chicken was used here. Everything else wasn’t too good for me.
Chilli was too watery and lacked a punch. The flavours weren’t quite well balanced here. The rice was cooked just right but the flavours weren’t quite right. It would seem that it lacks depth and tastes merely of chicken stock. The ginger garlic and oil flavours weren’t apparent.
The egg (not photographed as it was left out when served) was meh. Slightly over cooked (or leftover - I hope not) and just tasted of salt. It would seem that the cooking process involves steeping it in soya sauce as its only step.
