Has anyone notice their snowy ice desserts have shrunk in size ? Nevertheless, always enjoyed their desserts come rain or shine

Furst time here. A small estsblishment tucked in a corner of the basement. Had to wait 10 minutes for the Chendol Snowy Ice although place was quite empty. But the smoothness of the snowy ice and the sweetness of the thick brown sugar made it worth the wait. Will come back to try other goodies on the menu. They serve a variety of hot and cold local desserts.

Spent $13.06 ordering this via Foodpanda Delivery. Mango Pomelo Sago 杨枝甘露 that has barely any sago or pomelo, and just a few cubes of mango and lots of jelly. Yuck! I feel so cheated. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. DISHONEST.

Worst dessert I ever had. I have ordered Durian Sticky Rice Roll and Hot Red bean soup with additional red bean, Ginko and Lotus seed via food delivery. The rice roll is disgusting. The red bean was cold. The worst is lotus seed and ginko was rotten!! The price paid with this kind of quality is not acceptable!!

Mango ice cream was okay, but the durian crepe tasted weird and it was not cold. Informed the shop assistant but she mentioned that the sourness of the durian crepe is normal and many customers have bought it. After more bites, we smelled the crepe and we don’t think it is normal. Checked the comments here and realised that others also mentioned that the durian is not fresh. Informed the shop assistant again so that she can check with her supplier. She was kind enough and offered for a change in item though we rejected at first. Overall experience was okay, food can really be better…

Just average Chinese dessert place. The Sesame paste and here all jelly isn’t that ‘bitter’ and the double skim milk is. Or sweet enough.

Below average. Mango pomelo sago was disappointing - there was barely any pomelo and sago. It might as well be renamed to “mango and jelly”. Mango is sour. Mango passionfruit snowy ice was quite nice but not the sour mango. Yam paste was not bad but a little too dry for my liking (could do with a little bit more of the oil).

Ah Balling Tang Yuan (SGD $3.20) @ Ji De Chi. . This franchise is better known for their towering snow ice desserts, but they also serve traditional desserts. . They have the largest glutinous rice balls I've seen, either that or it's an optical illusion brought about from the small bowl. With a soft chewy sticky texture, and pink or white hues to indicate the type of filling within. . The black sesame paste has an earthy sweet nutty taste with a coarse creamy texture, while the peanut paste has a nutty sweet flavour with a fine chunky texture. . Love the warm ginger soup with its herbal sweet spice flavour, so comforting. Heed their reminder to eat desserts!.
