Mr Bean

I have been to this store a couple of times and it is always the worst customer service store ever with this particular old Auntie crew. I visited this store again on Friday 24 Sep night at 8 plus pm and this old auntie is serving as cashier again. I asked do you still have the packets of black bean soya drink? She replied in an extremely rude tone in mandarin “you cannot see yourself ah? Not there been no more la, we do not keep in the store”. Well, she could simply have said it is sold out rather than sacarcasm. When I presented the 26th anniversary voucher than I bought from another store, she rudely curted in a irritated loud voice “you cannot take out the voucher before ordering meh?”. Well, there is no sign indicating that and she could simply answer in a normal gracious tone, after all, she is not being paid to scold customer. I asked her, do you sell the anniversary voucher here? I bought in another store but I did not see the promotion board here. She rudely curted in mandarin again “you want how many also have la”.

I always buy something from them after my swim at OTH. The ladies are awesome. Happy that I get to practise my mandarin with the young chinese lady there. She makes the place very warm and inviting with her mannerism: looking geuninely happy to see each customers and giving me sisterly advice like careful it's hot etc. Today she gave me a large portion of food cos the one I ordered was out of stock. She's so nice! love it there! Edit: just read quite a few comments about a specific rude aunty. What rude aunty? I drop by there at least 3 times a week (only in the mornings or afternoons) and have been very lucky. I hope I never get to meet this infamous aunty.

When I order cold soy milk, they will always take soy milk prepared in advance from the fridge, I’m fine with that but nowadays I find it’s often curdled…

Ordered 4 bean curd tau hway but Aunty gave 4 soya milk instead. Told her she did the wrong order but Aunty act blur and refused to change and insisted we placed the wrong order (even though our receipt says 4 Tau hway) and demanded us to make new purchase if we want tau hway instead.

Was sitting in front of the shop eating old chang kee curry puff and saw many ppl ordered their ice cream cone and I decided to give it a try. Love that they have all the calories stated in the menu. The ice cream tastes good. Not super smooth and creamy. Not very sweet either. But would definitely come here when I want a healthier version of ice cream. (FYI only 86 calories)

The young man working here has the BEST Customer Service anywhere. He has a gentle and friendly manner; speaking English or Chinese depending on the clients. Never a grumble despite the busy pace of work and having to train new staff at the same time. A wonderful asset to the company and a boon to customers like us. He deserves a huge bonus & pay raise. And food quality here is same as everywhere else.

I ordered a "Vegetarian Jade Tofu Porridge Meal for 2" set on Foodpanda. The set included 2 Classic Soya Milk/Grass Jelly Drinks. But when it was delivered to me, the 2 drinks were missing!

Tamp Hub branch super POOR service! The auntie only focus on collecting money urgently without listening to order request properly! While one is taking money from the wallet then she started to probe for more details and said things like u never say i will just make already. Boycott!
