Walk pass this stall around 2pm. No q. Ordered drum stick with less rice, no add on. Rice is fragrance, chillis is not spicy but sour. Probably added lime/ vinegar? Well blended. Chicken is tender and a bit salty as it had soya sauce over it. Soup a bit let down. Tasted some herbal? Normal chicken soup would be nice. $4.00 for the plate is fair.

One of the rare stores still selling chicken rice at $3 in the core central region, yet portions are generous and food is tasty. Storeholders are very friendly as well.

Review for September 2021....First time ordering @ this chicken rice stall. I find it average taste. The steam chicken meat i was expecting tender ...BUT it was NOT....Well the price is affordable.

Ordered chicken rice during lunch hour. They only serve steamed chicken. Had the chicken rice with braised egg only $3.50. The uncle was very friendly and was served quickly. Nice chilli and very soft chicken. Just wish the rice was more fragrant and the soup to have deeper flavour.

Probably one of the best chicken rice in Singapore. Just next to Rolina where they probably serve some of the best curry puffs in Singapore

the BEST hainan chicken in Singapore, and I’ve had many. Not sure what can possibly be improved.. good price, tender giblets, great selection (can choose part of chicken) and flavorful rice. Just so good!! Come before they sell out (usually around 3pm)

Specialising in white steamed chicken, the hope was that the chicken rice here will be good. When the dish was served, it smelled great and looked great. Alas, the chicken though smooth and tender, was a little too salty due to the sauce added. Perhaps it would be best served by having the sauce in a separate bowl. At the price of only 4$ I can say that it's very good value for money. This version of chicken rice is not what I'm used to but it tastes great. They don't serve the ginger/scallion sauce. The chicken was very tender and moist. The liver tasted great too. A very good choice if you want to try Hainanese chicken rice.
