At most a 3-star CKT... No wok-hei in the noodles and limited ingredients even though I ordered a $4 serving of Teochew CKT. Very ordinary; no-where near the standard of the hawkers @ Zion Rd and Bedok South Blk 16

This is another good Char Kway Teow stall. It sells 3 types of char kway teow. Traditional Teochew char kway teow with black sweet sauce $3/$4, Penang style fried kway teow(white) without black sauce $4/$5 and Seafood fried kway Teow with black soya sauce $4/$5. I went for the traditional Teochew Char Kway Teow $4. The kway teow was delicious as it was fried with special soup. It was wet and tasty. Only that the cockles were too small. Overall it was a nice plate of char kway teow that I will go again to try the other two types. While writing the review make me recall the taste and wanting to eat char kway teow now. Price was reasonable and the stallholder was fast that customers didn't have to wait long in the queue for their delicious plate of fragrant kway teow. I will rate 5 stars if the cockles were bigger.

Place is otherwise known as Peter Kway Teow. There is no other known branches to my limited knowledge. There are only 2 varieties: Teochew (black sauce) and Penang style (white). The white one is rather different from actual Penang kway teow I tried in Penang but was good nevertheless. Both tasted rather similar with black variety having a tinge of sweetness. The owner was very generous with toppings, there's visibly more ingredients than noodles even in the smallest serving size. One worthy note is that both dishes also turned out to be less oily than what fried kway teow is usually associated with. The chilli sauce is aromatic but not spicy.

No queue on weekday lunch crowd. Ordered the sausage style which looks like penang style that has lesser dark soy sauce so not that sweet. But no wok hei taste and no wow factor. Asked for chilli version but can't taste spiciness also.

Char Kway Teow has some wok hey and black soy sauce is not too sweet. I tried first without adding lime juice and I liked it. Adding lime juice helps reduce oily feeling but changed the original char kway teow taste. I still prefer the taste without lime juice.
