One of my favourite pizza places that I must only visit once in a very long time. Too good!!!

First time trying and would be the last. Ordered the recommended deep dish with four different flavours as I cannot decide. Awesome especially the crispy sides of the pizza. Garri (hope I got it right) is working non stop. Handling the orders, serving water and ensuring the restaurant is cool and comfortable. Will definitely return.

We were pitched this as the best pizza in Singapore. I had high hopes but sadly was disappointed. We had 2 of their deep dish pizzas. Added extra sauce to both. The came, eventually. They are so darned salty. And I love salt but way too much for even me! Also quite dry. Even with the extra sauce! The base was also slightly under cooked and a bit doughy. You eat with wooden cutlery and it’s hard to cut them. Overall not a great experience on service or the food. Service as early-in was very slow. Drinks came after the pizza. Lemonade came after we had finished.

All Pizza and Cheese Lovers should come here. Deep Dish Pizza has a very cheesy crust to satisfy your love of cheese!

Ordered Pepperoni Pizza via delivery. The pizza crust is crispy and fluffy, loads of cheese and pepperoni. Slightly above average but not mind blowing. Still a good pan of pizza.

Not actually a deep-dish pizza. Don't get me wrong its delicious, however if you charging close to $50 for a "deep-dish" pizza it better be drooling with cheese or ingredients, this on the other hand is just regular pizza with thicker bread (albeit really good sourdough) and ever so slightly more cheese. This is more akin to what new york deli's grandma pizza or sheet pan pizza. I'd say give it a shot yourself, but don't expect deep-dish. If given the choice I'd go elsewhere, its delicious but i cant help but feel cheated. Edit: As John's Pizzeria mentioned, this is Detroit style pizza, which seems mostly known as Detroit style pizza and not associated with deep-dish, i googled "Detroit deep dish" in incognito to avoid bias results, it returned Detroit style pizza on page one 99% of the time with some comparing to Chicago deep dish but the 99% no one called it deep-dish. Technically i suppose you can call this a "Deep-dish" pizza, BUT i believe these names do have expectations attached to them, Deep-dish, grandma pie, Detroit style, NY style etc... similarly, they are all pies technically speaking, but you would not be happy if you went into pie shop for a warm comforting chicken pot pie and they served you a slice of pizza. (granted you'd be able to tell from the menu pictures in the case of chicken pot pie vs pizza LOL, but not so easy in this case of John's Pizzeria since it still could be Chicago deep dish in a rectangular shape) I understand deep-dish might sell better on SEO and Ads, however its misleading to say the least. My initial review stands, even more so, great pizza, not deep dish, i cant help but feel cheated.

Ordered takeaway of 2 deep dish pizza and cheesy sticks a day ahead. Called me half a day before to confirm the order and the special requests. The restaurant smells so good when I reached to pick up the order, and they were punctual. Pizzas are delectable and super filling. The deep dish pizzas have a generous spread of ingredients and was Chicago styled (thick crusted). They claim that each deep dish pizza feeds 2-3 adults, but my estimation is more towards 3-4 adults. Cheesy sticks was also very good with the garlic herb powder. Overall, It isn't the cheapest, but definitely one of the better Chicago pizzas I've come across.

One of the best pizza in Singapore. My first time trying deep dish pizza, it is amazingly good! Crispy, Chewy and flavourful all in 1 bite. It is not common to find a place in Singapore where you can choose different type of base for your pizza; and in John's you have the option of white, red or basil, and you can have mixed flavour in 1 pizza too. Their sourdough garlie bread is good too. What kinda surprise me was, there was only one young chap in the shop. He is the cook, the cashier, the waiter and there quite a number of online order too so the waiting time may be abit long. I kinda pity the guy attending to the big shop by himself only.
