I, too have received great services from Dr Joy Lee. My surgery was 10 years ago. It was to remove some blocked milk ducts and each visit was pleasant with the jovial Dr Lee. Highly recommended.

Had the worst experience with the clinic assistant in my life!! It was my first visit and my appt is at 2pm, i reached at 1.48pm. The moment i walked in, i was told by the clinic assistant to come back later without even knowing who i was and what time is my appt. I told her my appt is at 2pm and she started raising her voice at me saying that there is unforeseen circumstances and they have just finished seeing morning session patients. Then she started shouting at me and the exact quote is, 'Can you come back later! We haven't even had lunch! I need to eat ok! Doctor needs to eat too! You come back later!' I am appalled by her rude behavior as i said nothing except for my appt is at 2pm. Still suffering from the rude shock, i asked her what time should i come back and she told me to go back in 30 mins time. This is when i decided to tell her that she should review her attitude as it reflected badly on the clinic and to make it worst, it is my first visit. She gave me a can't be bothered face and attitude and i can do nothing but to walk away. After about 15 to 20 mins, someone from the clinic called me saying that i can go back and they will put me in the queue. I told her i have left as i do not believe in condoning this kind of attitude. At the same time, i told the staff that called me saying that i will NEVER go back to this clinic cos the clinic assistant was so rude and i asked her to feedback to the doctor. I am not sure if the staff that called me is the same clinic assistant i saw, but she gave me a classic reply after i ask her to feedback to the doc. She told me, ' I will not do that.' I hope this staff is the same staff cos i can't imagine having 2 staff of the same bad attitude! I sincerely hope that Doc Joy Lee can see this review. Even though it is not the doctor's fault but with staff like that, it will definitely reflect badly on the clinic and the doctor.

Called to make an enquiry abt the prices of ultrasound. Receptionist answered saying depending on how extensive the scan is. She cannot quote me a price. Not even a range. I thought scanning is the whole area? No?

Dr Lee is professional, direct and patient to explained every details. I felt i m in good hand and my medical knowledge growth after her detailed explaination of my condition.

I agree with the feedback on rude behaviour having experienced my share of negative encounters with the clinic's various personnel over the years. I had put up with it as my medical checks and follow-ups were routinely done at the clinic. However, my tolerance snapped the day when a staff went beyond being impatient and dismissive. I had contacted the clinic on some pressing medical issues and wanted to arrange for an appointment. The staff curtly responded it was not possible as their slots were all fully booked for two months and she proceeded to hang up the call on me. That was the final straw and I never went back. The "full bookings" or popularity of the clinic does not justify subjecting me to sub-standard attitude.

I would like to thank Dr Joy Lee for her professional medical services during the bleakest period of my life. She is personally vested in her patients’ well-being and ensures that they are in the best position to make the right decisions. My first operation was done on 4th October 2007. It was intended to remove a benign lump in the breast as indicated by an initial needle aspiration biopsy. However, during the operation, she discovered cancerous lumps in both breasts. Dr Lee closed the operation and provided me the necessary information about both mastectomies and lumpectomies in which I chose the latter. It has been a decade since the operations and I have made a full recovery with her medical treatment. Beyond the physical torment of cancer, I was also depressed at knowledge of my condition. It was to the extreme of suicide. However, Dr Lee was quick to note my depression and referred me for psychiatric treatment. She also encouraged me throughout my road to recovery. I deeply appreciate Dr Lee for her care and professionalism and truly respect her profession for saving the lives of many including mine.

I heard about Dr Joy from different circles of friends and all of them praised her with pleasant words. I decided to visit Dr Joy and indeed I found her experienced, knowledgeable and professional. Dr Joy was down to earth, quick and direct in telling your diagnosis. She discussed and provided the solution to my illness and I felt blessed that she took good care of me before, during and after my operation. She was always the first person who visited me in the hospital and she listened attentively to how I felt and then did her best to help. Dr Joy has a team of friendly clinical staff and they assisted me to the great extent. I will highly recommend Dr Joy Lee for your breast specialist. Thank you Dr Joy.

Dr. Joy is skilled and experienced. However the waiting time is 1- 1.5 hours on a regular basis. When complained I was told that it is a happy problem to have (i.e. a result of doctor’s popularity). There was no recognition that it is an issue of queue management. Would request for more respect for patient’s time.
