Very rude phone operator... just avoid this place

Called in to inquire about the consultation charges and I got a very monotonous and unpleasant reply

Arrogant doctor, payment only by cash which is very weird

My mom is 74yrs old. She had "bloodshot" red eyes aft she returned from her holidays.(She was treated as an eye infection case by a few Dr's we had seen.) She had no complaints of headaches etc ,but her sight was getting more n more blurred each day. Wen we consulted Dr Loh PH in Dec. She was (I googled for any specialists,closest to my plc on the East Coast n luckily we found Dr Loh.Managed to get an appointment within 30mins.) When she heardmy mom said that she couldnt see clearly. Immediately.she did tests to rule out glaucoma. True enuf, her iOP (Intra-Occular Pressure) was 46 in left eyes and 40++ in the right eye. Dr Loh was swift n quick in treating her (with oral med) to reduce water retention in her and she was given eye drops for glaucoma. She advised us that, surgery is the last resort n she hoped that my mom can respond well with eyedrops alone. Wen my mom saw her again after 5days of oral meds and eyedrops 2x a day, Thankfully, the iOP had dropped to 14 in both eyes. Now..she just needs to use her eyedrops , to contol her IOP. N regular check up with Dr Loh. I must say..Dr Loh is really good n professional in treating my mom. Her charges are reasonable too ,for a specialist. I wl really recommend Dr Loh !!!

Dr Loh is an excellent doctor and give good fast-reactive prescriptive eye drops for my allergies. She's only available in the mornings.

Went to a GP and the doctor told me if no pain then leave it alone(facepalm-ed myself)??..was very unconvinced and end up visiting Dr.Loh from a recommendation, she explained the conditions very well and was straight to the point on how it can be treated/ unforeseen risk too. Prices are reasonable too for an eye specialist. Highly recommended.

6 December 2021 - receptionist spoke in a very rude tone. called for an appointment and she said the doctor is on-leave. so we said just wanted to check if the clinic was open, considering that the doctor will be away till mid-Dec(?), and she rudely said and i quote "of course the clinic is open thats why i can answer the phone. but there's no doctor how to see you". i mean, you could have said it nicely and not crudely. my 8 year old daughter had a sudden eye infection, and we're not sure from where. just wanted to check out a clinic nearby home, and instead my little daughter (who wanted to try making an appointment for herself for the first time) got snapped on the phone by this lady.

I was recommended to this clinic by my mother who had brought my grandmother for a diagnosis many years back. I managed to get an appointment very quickly on the next available time/ date. Despite the couple of negative reviews here, I found the nurse to be OK. I did not mind that she was firm but efficient and competent, like someone's older aunt. As for Dr Loh, she is a very assuring, excellent doctor. She went through with me regarding each step of my eye exam, clearly explaining the purpose of each step. At the conclusion of my visit, Dr Loh also told me that I could come back if I felt I was worried about anything concerning my eyes. I felt that I was given superb care and attention the entire hour I was at the clinic. And the price was reasonable and affordable too!
