I only asked for a neat short haircut, and I found that the older hairdresser didn't cut my hair properly, just cut it casually. I went home and found that my hair varies in length. It would be better for me to cut it myself. Why should I make money for you? Instead, my husband went to cut his hair with me. The young hairdresser helped him cut his hair very well, but I won’t go to this shop anymore.

Rude Stylist @k-cuts Tampines 1 mismanaged queue with the approval from company. On 23 June 2021 @13:50, I bought a ticket for my son at k-cuts Tampines 1. My queue number was 209. The queue number on queue board was 208. At the time, there were two female Stylists attending to their customers. When one of the seat was available, I wait patiently for the stylist to call me in. However, to my dismay, she gestured another man to go in. I was puzzled. I waved to her my ticket. She simply gave me a weird look and continue to attend to that man. I thought perhaps that man has some VIP voucher and thus able to cut queue. i let the mater rest and continue to wait for my turn thinking that may be it will not take long. I even told my son its ok to let him go first. (While i was waiting, the other stylist left the shop, leaving only the rude stylist). However, things happened again! When she was done with the first man, she again asked another man (which appeared from no-where) to go before me! I showed the rude stylist my ticket and asked why. She explained that it was because they are holding the 1-for-1 voucher and she had queue them manually earlier on, by scribbling 209A and 209B on the vouchers. I asked her why did she not tell me when i was buying the ticket that there are two persons before me? And why she acknowledged their (209) ticket but not mine! She ignored my questions and went inside the shop to get ready to serve that (2nd) man. At this juncture, i realised that she is not going to acknowledge her mistake. Thus, i asked for a refund. She brushed me off rudely and said 'No! No! No!'. She was outrageously rude, high-handed and with zero customer service. I left with the ticket and wrote to k-cuts. They reply asking me to call them to "further understand the situation'. I called and the lady over the phone simply elaborate again the voucher promotion and the manual queuing system by the stylist. There was no apologies and assurance that such practices will not happen again. And to rub salt to the wound, she even said i 'should have check with the stylist on how many people is queuing before me!' I bought the ticket. My queue number was 209. The queue number on queue board shown 208. No one was allowed to wait inside the shop. No one was queuing outside the shop. So should i have any doubt that it would be my turn next? I am simply speechless and time will tell if company with such unfair practices would last.

Great place to go for a haircut. Although the seats and capacity are limited, I really appreciate the barber skills. It is always fast and I am pleased with the end results.

why do the staff never listen when you tell them to just trim and you don’t want it to be too short? I even gave Kent a pointer of how short I wanted the back to be but he straight up cut everything off and ignored my pointed. I SAID I DONT WANT IT TOO SHORT AND HE CUT MY SIDES ABOVE MY EARS.

Avoid. Barber likes to cut extremely short. Would recommend other outlets instead.

I’m very impresses by the way hairdresser Kent handles little kid. Very patient and sweet. Highly recommended!

Pretty good and quick haircut. Most of the hairdressers were polite and helpful. But the skill of the hairdressers varies. It would be good if they know what customers really want. At times you will get a very clean and good haircut while some day, they don't get what you really want despite showing them photo. A couple of the hairdressers were rude especially to the elderly. I think this is something the management should really look into the matter.
