This hawker stalk is operated by a lady who takes pride in making good Teochew style fish ball noodles. It’s situated in Tiong Bahru Hawker Center, which is located in a historic neighborhood that’s a stone’s throw away from CBD and Chinatown. Delicious and bouncy fish balls

Fishballs were too salty and the soup tasted like salt water

This fish ball minced meat noodle has a signboard with big fonts and glimmering lights that caught my attention. Very simple and straightforward menu that is displayed big and clear. A typical bowl of noodles will cost you $3 or $4, while of course you can request for more noodles or more ingredients at a fee. Don’t come on Friday as they’re not open for business.

Super delish and honest bowl of fishball noodles! $3.50 a bowl with generous portions. No shortcuts or exorbitant price increases here. Noodles were cooked to perfection and the fishballs were bouncy to the bite. Definitely support this stall here!

Another stall that caught my eye on my last visit to Tiong Bahru food centre. Signboard is pretty prominent and cant missed it. A bowl of noodle starts from SGD$3 onwards. There was already a queue when i reached, waited for almost 10mins before it was my turn to order. Each bowl of noodle comes with minced pork, fish dumpling, fishcake and fishball. Noodle was nicely cooked and the sauce compliement the noodle well. This bowl of noodle has that nostagic taste to it. The pork lard was nicely fried as well. Overall, i personally think that this was an above average bowl of fishball noodle and i would definetly come back to patronise again!

4.5 star. Lots of noodles for $4.50 but noodles not done as nice as neighbouring store.

Meepok dry had the right texture and was quite flavourful. The smallest bowl ($3.50) also contained a generous amount of ingredients, including three fishballs, one fish dumpling, fish cakes and minced pork). The fishballs were soft and tasted like those handmade ones. Stall was hygenic but e-payment was not available.
