โ โ โ โ โ Heard about them so I came to try since I needed to fix my nasi lemak craving. Itโs located at the Tiong Bahru Hawker Center (just above the market). Me and my friend had one set each. We ordered the set with a huge chicken thigh and topped up with an otah patty and petai. The blue pea rice was delicious (it has the nasi lemak kick), chicken was well marinated and the peanuts/anchovies were super crunchy!! Sambal was on the sweeter side. The additional ingredients - otah patty was ok, but petai wasnโt worth the money at all. The portion was very small. Overall, itโs still a good deal. We paid SGD 21.80 for 2 plates. May be slightly high for hawker price, but well the presentation is good! Give them a visit and support local hawkers :)

โ โ โ โ โ This stall gives more sparks in the Tiong Bahru Market food center. I have been there twice. And I like the Set D with sambal petai.. Set B with chicken is also nice, but I will need to have more sambal at the side ?
If you are around the hood and looking for different style of nasi lemak, this place will be a great option.

โ โ โ โ โ The Nasi Lemak is instagram-worthy, from the stall front to the dish. Ordering was easy as there are only four sets with add-ons such as otak-otak available. Waiting time was longer than expected probably due to overwhelming delivery orders. Fortunately, there is no need to stand in line because customers will be given a beeper to collect orders when ready. E-payment was available too.
The food itself, unfortunately, was as sterile as those in food court/hotel and lacked the authenticity of hawker fare. The rice was not fragrant and fluffy as it should be. Nonetheless, a pleasant meal. Worth trying.

โ โ โ โ โ This is my first try at this stall, and I must say the fried chicken can indeed rival some of the more popular Lemak stalls in SG. Yes, even the one with a ?.
The rest of the food items are well setup. though tiny in portion, but it certainly fills the stomach when all consumed.
I guess it's current location kinda limits how far this stall can grow to. If they are located at a more 'hip' location where people are more acceptable to pay $6.90 plate of Nasi, I am sure it will enjoy a busier traffic.

โ โ โ โ โ I didnโt have much expectation because Iโm a real nasi lemak critic. This exceeded my non expectations. I now place it as my No 2 nasi lemak after Sixth Avenue. I had the vegetarian set since hubby had the fried chicken. I love my vegetarian set. Hubby said he will go for the vegetarian the next we are here. Itโs already his third time. The sambal was spicy and tasty. The blue pea didnโt actually add to the taste of the rice. Just made it prettier.

โ โ โ โ โ Heard about the stall so went in search of it. Ordered the fried chicken set for $7.90, and the dish was ready within 10 minutes.
The chicken was a tad cold, and some bits were dry/hard, but the skin was still very crispy. The peanuts and anchovies were fresh as well. The rice was a bit of a let down, and was rather bland. The chilli was more the sweet type, and was not spicy.
Overall, it was an okay dish for the price.

โ โ โ โ โ Fried Chicken Whole Leg Set. All nasi lemak should be served with a chicken whole leg like this. Helps that the normally plain rice is naturally coloured blue with the help of butterfly pea. Be warn that all these pretty and delicious food also requires a little bit more $.

โ โ โ โ โ This is my fourth time here, but first time dining in, that's how I am able to take photo of the nicely plated nasi lemak.
The huge juicy whole chicken leg is freshly fried and fabulously marinated with lots of tumeric powder n other spices. The sambal chilli has the right level of spiciness n not overly sweet, goes really well with the blue pea coloured coconut rice. Slightly pricer than other stalls but the size of the chicken leg.... worth it ???
