The curry is nice and fragrant. Pork chop is ok, squid is soft and Q-ey, omelette and cabbage are nice. Queue may be long but it’s actually quite fast.

The stall has been relocated to Tiong Bahru Hawker Centre, level 2. There are definitely more seats as compare to the old coffee shop. However, Is it worth queueing? Probably not. The stall starts business at 8:30am. Look at the long queue at 8:40am. We were early and were 5th in the queue. We waited for about 20 mins. We paid S$15 for a piece of fried pork chop (very very thin slice, cold, without sauce), two prawn paste fried chicken wing (tiny and cold), one piece of tofu and braised taopok, cabbage and braised intestine (粉肠). Given the small servings, I would not consider it as cheap. I have to admit that the braised intestine was nice. All dishes that we ordered were served cold, not even warm.

Long queue but indeed special. The curry is prob the best out there. Very tasty! The meat - chicken, pork, sotong all taste fresh, not too oily, and generous portion.

Rather pricey yet always command a queue. You probably won't find any fresher ingredients especially the seafood at any other Chinese rice stalls though I guess the high cost of it is also passed to the customers as well. Their unique take on the curry(creamy, slightly spicy with a tint of assam) is also what attracted me for kept coming back.

Oh my goodness!!! I had no idea how yummy curry rice could be until I came here. Staff is very helpful if you have no idea what to order here. We got an order for two, and everything was yummy. The curry is delicious, the pork cutlet was crispy and fresh, and the veggies are tasty. Can’t wait to go back!

Long queue on weekends. Traditional Hainanese curry rice. The braised pork belly is very nicely cooked, soft and savoury on the skin and thick cut. Squid is very fresh and soft. The best is the curry chicken gravy which is different from the main curry gravy they pour on the rice. Suggest to order a separate portion of chicken curry in a bowl to appreciate it more can be addictive.

Worth the queue? Probably not. If I’m staying there, I wouldn’t mind eating if there is no queue. The queue honestly is due to customer is indecisive of what they want. The pork chop was good. Curry? Does not live up to the expectations. It is thick but lacks of the curry flavour, it’s just spicy. The cabbage are rather sweet not from the natural sweetness but seems like marinated in sugar. Undoubtedly the ingredients are on the fresh side

We have been coming to Loo’s for authentic Hainanese curry rice fare such as pork chop, sotong ( squid), curry chicken, braised pork etc.. Lots of seats after moving to market vs old venue in coffee shop. What/why we like:- Pork chop is meaty & juicy vs another long q stall in this area. For takeaway , pay for a whole piece and asked to pack separately. Braised pork belly has a deep dark colour and super flavourful due to good quality sauce & time taken to get to this level. The secret is in the sauces/ gravy concoction, when asked if you like gravy, ask for all 3 ( curry, braised dark sauce ( 卤汁). sweet sour sauce ) yum! Queue: Avoid 11:30-1300 lunch peak. Best timing used to be 9:30-10 on Mondays. These days, queues can be seen even at 9:30am but they move fast. Closed on Thursdays Cash Terms Only :(
