Ordered a 10days trial Tingkat service and will never renew if possible i want to stop immediately and to get my refund back. Received a spoilt vegetable today there is strong sourish smell to it. I get my parents to smell it too and they also mention the vegetable is spoilt has turn sourish and most likely they cook the vegetables previous day. If it is cook on the day itself there wouldn't be such smell. Very BAD Experience.

My family has been a long-time customer of more than 10 years. Giving 2 stars as their service in the past was excellent, but now, it is unsatisfactory. Whenever we try to call the customer service hotline, it plays some music and then, it hangs up. It was only after 5 to 6 times of calling did we manage to get hold of them. When we asked why no one was picking up the phone, they said that there were people at the phone, so we must have been MISTAKEN. They also require at least 2 days (before 11am) in advance if you are going to cancel a meal. For the past year, the food they've been preparing is not up to standard. Once, out of 4 dishes, 3 were made of the same ingredient but cooked differently. Another time, 2 were cucumbers that were so raw it was unpalatable. Moreover, their fish had scales on it. Their drumsticks/wings/pork ribs are mostly bones. We called to give some feedback, but the customer service had the gall to say that maybe the kitchen was trying to, and I quote, "ๅˆ›ๆ–ฐ" (create new dishes). We experienced similar things as some of the other reviews here. Dinner is around 6-7, but they usually deliver it at 3pm, so by the time we were going to eat, some of the food had already spoiled. It was stated on the (NEA?) sticker that they prepared it at 2.40pm and was to be consumed by 6.40pm.

It caught my attention that there were 5, 1 star rating when my wife was trying to show me today's menu. First world problem was the first thing that came to my mind when I read the reviews. For me, I felt fortunate enough to have such home-cook-food delivery service to cater to our needs. Personally I ordered ting kat during my recovery period after my knee surgery where I have problem going out to get food. We tried ordering from deliveroo, food panda, and grabfood, but eventually thought of giving ting kat a try. I got the 2 person meal contract and seriously $14 for 2 person is extremely reasonable having them delivered to our door step. Timing is not a problem for us as we understood that we are not the only king or queen where food has to be cooked and served at a perfect timing. I must thank you for the kind services and the very friendly uncle who always deliver the food with a smile on his face. Keep up the great work!

Serve rubbish like processed fried fish balls and boiled hotdogs. I didn't know hotdogs can be boiled till mushy like bloated corpse fresh out of water till today. Chicken being the only non processed meat was extremely tough, like overnight. This company operates under a few names, hilltop, hewtop, Kim's etc. All from similar kaki bukit address. Buyers beware.

Ordered their Tingkat lunch (non trial) and the first couple of weeks went fine. delivery for lunch was delivered between 920am to 945am. this was acceptable given the many deliveries they had. However this changed this week when the lunch wasn't delivered even till lunch time. Calls to customer service explained that their regular driver is ill. The Lunch order eventually got left outside our door past 4.20pm without anyone ringing the bell or calling.. How would you expect us to consume food that was prepared early in the morning and only delivered cold in the late afternoon! I guess I need to verify this with NEA on food hygiene practices...

Although daily was different type of soup, but all tasted the same. Almost everyday has fried item, fried chciken or fish. Dont feel worth the price.

This is the first time i try Kim's catering . I would said despite of the menu looks attractive there are disappointment on the first day of delivery . It stated delivery for dinner started 3pm to 6pm but the delivery was late to reach at 6.30pm . I whatsapp the phone number no response , at last i called their direct line and the customer service explain the distance is too far and my place is the last station to deliver . Secondly, the pumpkin soup has sour taste . We suspect it has turned sour after long hours heat on the road . As there are young child consuming the food , it might cause stomach upset . we hope Kim's catering can be cautious to maintain freshness of the food upon delivery.

Kim's Kitchen has been most kind and understanding, especially during these pandemic times. I tested positive for covid on a weekday late afternoon. Even though i called them after the cut-off time, they agreed to postpone my tingkat from the next day onwards. As my recovery was slow, i had to postpone a further 2 more times, which Kim's Kitchen agreed without any hesitation. The 3rd time that i had to postpone as i was still unwell, i called last minute on a Monday morning, and again, they were willing to postpone from the day itself for the rest of the week. And the staff kept saying that it's fine, just take care of myself first. I am very grateful and thankful to Kim's Kitchen and would also like to commend the nice delivery uncle who has been delivering the tingkat to us, rain or shine, without fail at always around the same time. Thank you :)
