Shout out to the Korean/Japanese food stall. It is manned by Korean and food served is authentic. They use sticky rice and if you top up 20c for takeaway, they will give you a nice disposable bento box.

Kway chap was quite delicious and the coffee was also quite fragrant. Hawker centre is just opposite, so you might want to augment your kway chap and coffee with you tiao from the nearby stall.

Must try for breakfast and lunch: The mee hoon kueh stall. I personally like the mee hoon kueh and sheng mian. Must try for dinner: The hokkien fried prawn noodle. Can taste the wok hei and perfect with the chili and lard!!

Must try the Hup Heng Satayat BLK 226 AMK coffeeshop just opposite the hawker center. The Satay is delicious and each stick meat is a about 5 to 6cm. Most important the meat is not so much fats and are well BBQ without burnt. The Satay peanut sauce also very nice. Each stick cost 60 cents.

I like the fried prawn noodle. $3 per decent portion plate. Professionally cooked with 3 prawns added. You cannot find this authentic fried prawn noodle and with this kind of pricing anymore. And the taste.... Hmmm... You got to try to believe it. The uncle chef seems a bit attitude problem when he is concentrating cooking and will not entertain taking new order. Just be patient and don't be mistaken. He is just being professional to deliver good food to you. Be patient to wait for your turn when he is out with cooked food.

Typical Singapore kopitiam. You can find mixed veg rice, wanton mee, BBQ chicken wings, satays, fish head steamboat etc here.

Must try: Teochew porridge at really decent prices! 2 veg 2 meat with porridge: $3.50. 2 veg 1 meat with porridge: $3. The dishes are nicely seasoned and the black bean five spice pork mince is already on my daily go-to list. The Hup Heng Satay stall makes really flavourful skewers with meaty chunks. Mutton satay is exceptionally lean but soft, probably the best I have tasted in SG! Pork satay with a piece of lard in the middle is quite the favourite.
