Expensive coffeeshop and not very friendly stall holders. Visited 4 stalls and these are the experience: Bak chor mee - when I ordered mee po ta - the guy mumbled something very curtly like "think/see what u want first before ordering" and he turned his back away! I was taken aback by his attitude and walked away! The roasted meat stall guy was not friendly either... took order and no response but i guess that's still not that bad. The BKT stall auntie was ok but trying to upsell every single item hahaha.. took my $50 without telling me the price and gave change back and a BKT and pork trotters with 2 rice cost $17.90. I guess the most decent of the 4 is the teochew fish stall. Not cheap for 3 orders $18.20 but i guess fish noodles aint cheap!

Here goes: 1. 3 stars for the clean coffee shop and the $2.80 mee pok al dente. All was good. 2. 2 stars not given because my bowl of noodles was taken away after I had only 2 mouthfuls. I left my noodles at the table to pick up my dimsum which was 5 steps away. The skinny male cleaner came to take my noodles and threw used rubbish in it. When he was confronted, he just said sorry in one word and walked away. It left me ?‍? because I only turned my back to pick up my dim sum. Moreover I had waited in line fod ten minutes for my noodles. If an efficient award was available, he would definitely have won it. Please take heed ifyou dine here solo. You food could vanish faster than you breathe out oxygen. Do keep a look out for those cleaners when you are there.

Ordered Hokkien noodles and fishball minced meat noodles. Hokkien noodles is rather small portion and tasty is just average. The fishball minced meat noodles is the STAR! Noodle is bouncy and meat is just nice. Sorry for the 3-star rate but boo to the Hokkien noodles though, might return to taste test for the Yang Zhou fried rice! But just fyi the queue for noodle stall is about 20mins, quite insane wait…
