greatly recommended! small classroom setting so it's more personalised tutoring and also less intimidating to ask any question that comes to mind :) teacher is really nice, engaging and genuinely cares for her students! me and my friends had some pre-existing knowledge about korean already and didn't know which level to go for so she even arranged a placement test for us for free! she offers to teach many levels so it can cater to people with all standards of proficiency in the korean language. teacher is native korean too which is just a huge plus since all of us are aiming to speak like a native korean, and sometimes she will also share interesting facts about korean culture/her life back in korea :) lastly, flexible timings as well due to small teacher-to-student ratio!

helloooo i joined this korean language class for the first time in january this year and i've already learnt so much within this period. As someone who first learnt the korean language by myself through books and watching tv programs, i didn't know what to expect from an actual language lesson, so i decided to join in on the lesson during the school holidays. It was awkward during lessons at first, but thanks to Kimmy 선생님's engaging lessons, i was able to adapt and learn comfortably. Since the lesson is catered towards a small class size, every student has a chance to participate in conversations and voice out any of their doubts easily. Kimmy 선생님 is very friendly and welcoming to students, and she speaks english very well too, so there's no problem when it comes to communicating to her in english. Sometimes, we link real life experiences to conversations in class, and that is what makes it interesting and fun :D Also, the class is very conveniently located next to the MRT station, allowing for easy access and shorter travel time.

I have been taking classes from Teacher Kimmy for about 1.5 years, and under her teaching & guidance, I have an even greater understanding and liking for the language! She's a native Korean from Seoul, but her English is very good! it is very easy to understand her and be understood by her. Also, being in a one-to-one class, I find that the speed of learning is faster and more engaging. There's also more opportunity for conversation, which helps to improve my Korean speaking skills. Her lessons are always well-paced, well-prepared and never boring!

Kimmy is the fourth Korean language teacher I have worked with, and she is by far the best! Learning with Kimmy gives you reassurance that you are able to push yourself further in what you are weak at and yet she is never overbearing. Her lessons are thoughtfully planned, and our class of four always have a fab time learning with her.

I have been learning Korean on-and-off for about 5-6 years, but sometimes find it difficult and frustrating to have to remember all the vocabulary and grammar. Due to a busy work schedule, also find it challenging to follow big class lessons. Kimmy offers the perfect solution to my challenges. Learning with Kimmy, I was able to address some of my concerns and problems. With a smaller class size, Kimmy offers dedicated and one-on-one coaching and guidance. She is spot on in assessing our weaknesses and pushes us to address them directly. For example, she dedicates time for us to engage in more conversations and writing, knowing that we are weaker in these aspects. Kimmy's friendly and unassuming disposition also takes away the fear one could have from a classroom setting. I feel I am able to learn better and in a more conducive manner. Most importantly, I am able to retain the knowledge and apply them in real life situations. She has also motivated us to engage in language learning beyond the weekly sessions and I am grateful for that.
