Another hidden gem in Katong. Hearty, flavorful with wok-hei, very reasonably priced and a wide selection to boot. Be prepared to wait. Gave them my order before heading off to run some errands. Lots of regulars it seems. And after today, it's got itself one more fan :)

Amazing fish soup for fried fish as well as fish slices, yummy prawn paste chicken wings. Like the wonton noodles too. Hidden gem in Odeon Katong, have to walk into premises from entrance at the side of the building. Friendly folks. Good option for lunch in Katong area.

If you work near Katong Odeon, try this Kipoโ€™s Kitchen during lunch :-) It is located at the 1st floor, near the side gate on left side of the building. In terms of choices they have good varieties & you can even call to place order first then collect in 15-30 minutes time (depending on the crowd & queue). One thing I like is the $2 top upโ€ฆ. If you order says wanton noodle you can top up $2 for more wantonโ€ฆ. & you can also top up $2 for a piece of pork chop (cut into 5 slices) with any main dish ordered.

The food here is the best !! Delicious& they are very generous with the ingredients. I had fish slice thick beehoon soup . The fish fillet was incredible huge in size and taste so good ..

Hole in the wall place that I wouldnโ€™t have discovered despite living nearby if not for Googlemaps! Took away the fried fish noodle soup and chicken cutlet noodle and both were very generous portions. The fried fish was really crisp and I enjoyed it as it was well seasoned. However I unfortunately found the soup a little bland. The chicken cutlet noodle was good and definitely see why people recommend it. Overall, definitely a place thatโ€™s value for money

Superb food! Caught dinner there after a work out. Waiting time is quite long but well worth it! We had the tomato fried fish soup as well as chicken cutlet noodles. Well-made dishes with fresh ingredients, they had great texture with rich flavours in their soup, bouncy noodles and fried meat/fish (no wonder the waiting time was 20mins). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Hidden gem at Katong. One of the crispiest chicken cutlets Iโ€™ve ever had, sitting atop a good bowl of springy noodles slathered with fragrant sambal chilli sauce, and crunchy fresh vegetables! Totally hit the spot for only $5.50. Food was served piping hot and cooked to order. Queue moved very fast. Order, pay, take a buzzer and proceed to sit and wait for your food. Self-service eatery. Though the place is dated, the place is clean and dry and thereโ€™s air conditioning. The only drawback - theyโ€™re only open on weekdays and close by 7:30pm. Will find time to come back for more.

Nice wanton and chicken mushroom mee and fish soup. Noodles were springy but a little too drenched with the sauce. Do try their tomato fish soup which is really tangy and full of shredded cabbage. Fried fish comes separately so you can dip in the soup without the fish being too soggy. Come outside lunch hours to avoid a long queue.
