★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely hole-in-the-wall Izakaya in the Katong area. Soup curry is nice! Well suited to Malaysian/Singaporean palate. Nice smokey taste to the meats.
Friend said Tsukune was good and Grilled Chicken Liver was exceptional. Prices are reasonable! Will come back again :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful how the owner brought the Hokkaido style izakaya concept to Singapore. Very good food, yakitori, gyoza, unagi, all delicious. Curry soups nice, smokey and well spiced. Would highly recommend. Great service and fantastic price/quality! I'll be back for tasting some sake next time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their "must-try" item obihiro-butaichi is a disappointment. While the grilled pork is nice, the gravy is too much and too sweet. Grilled liver and gizard and aesorted veggie are good though. Service is great, will be back to try the curry soup

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is ok overall. There are some hits and misses but service is poor. The soup curry is tasty, chicken karage is nice but the grilled squid is overcooked. The wait was long and it didn’t help when they missed out orders. Overall not a good experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quaint yakitori place on East Coast road. Order a bottle of sake and enjoy skewers of the smoky grilled meat. They did get our orders mixed up. Some items did not arrive and there were things we got instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food, friendly service and reasonably priced food and drinks. Indeed a hidden gem among the more well-advertised katong eateries or larger yakitori restaurants. Highly recommended if you appreciate good quality yakitori and izakaya style food (though I selfishly wish that it will continue to be a hidden gem ☺️).
We (party of 5) tried their fried chicken skin, grilled vege, lamb chop, pork belly and chicken skewers, mentaiko yaki, grilled salmon, cold ramen, curry soup, sashimi salmon & hotate, tatami iwashi, bacon asparagus. None let us down. Their food looks exactly as what they post in their FB page (zero mis-representation … kudos to that!!)
Great food, friendly service and reasonably priced … that will be what keep customers coming back. Keep up with the good work!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food here is awesome! The sashimi is so fresh, one order will not be good enough. Although the choices of the BBQ are not that many, but all of them are very good and tasty. The staffs are also very accommodating and attentive.
