โ โ โ โ โ I liked the soup base and the noodles texture. They got their 1 Michelin star in Tokyo. As good as Ichiran in my opinion

โ โ โ โ โ The oyster ramen is the key item on their menu, hence we ordered 1 oyster Shio ramen and 1 oyster paitan ramen. We also topped up each bowl with a set meal i.e. maki + hojicha & guisa + hojicha.
The oyster Shio ramen: you can taste the oyster in the broth. Once u have mixed the paste into the broth, the taste changed a little maybe becoz of the piece of grilled capsicum & raw onions or spring onions. Noodles were really chewy. They were not like the usual noodles you get from the normal ramen. This bowl of ramen was rather unique.
Oyster Paitan ramen: the broth was rather rich. It comprised of miso and oyster & lemon taste. We were surprised to find a piece of grilled lemon in the broth. The broth was more full bodied and a tinge zesty. Noodles were also chewy.
If you want to have a somewhat unique bowl of good ramen, hototogisu is a good place to come for it.

โ โ โ โ โ Located in The Great World City Mall.
Had to place order through the iPad. And thankfully, menu was provided, so that the customers could have a better idea of the variety of food available.
Famous for its noodle. And surprisingly, the ramen was extremely good. The texture of the noodle was smooth and chewy. The gravy was tasty and wasnโt salty like what other Japanese restaurant. Only thing was the portion was definitely not enough for a big eater.
There were also rice set available. For the pork in the rice set, the pork was too salty. The saltiness overshadowed the taste of the meat. If the pork was too salty that one star had to be deducted.
The gyoza was delicious too, eating together with the sauce provided, was perfect. Extremely tasty.
The price was reasonable if ordered together as a set, since you could order a side and a choice of drink.
Service was prompt.
For payment, you would need to go to the counter to pay.
Overall experience was great.
Would recommend anyone to go and try the noodle!

โ โ โ โ โ Easy to order using the iPads, I found the serving size a bit small. Flavour was ok and not super salty. Picture below is of the tonkotsu ramen.

Had the house special oysters noodle. Taste overwhelm by onions, canโt really taste and enjoy the soup. Seems overrated.

โ โ โ โ โ Today's food philosophy - Simplicity is good for the soul. And we weren't wrong to have gone for the extremely "light" Tonkotsu Original Ramen with an accompanying portion of Gyoza. The full-bodied clear soup really hit the spot, like a one Michelin-starred establishment would. We can't help but wonder how Chef Atsushi Yamamoto maintains the standard at so many outlets though and will be curious to find out.

โ โ โ โ โ human service was prompt and friendly. digital menu on ipad wasn't the most intuitively helpful. wanton doesnt reconcile with the pic. the ramen portion is good for a snack. the broth is AMAZING - authentically miso ferment without any MSG. Very dense and tasty.
