★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the better tasting tea/coffee places around. it is more for takeaway then to dine in (only one set of table and chairs, or otherwise you got to sit at the duo provided seating just down the corridor door).
One queue is for ordering, the other for your order. Pretty fast considering the number of orders that they have (2 drink makers and 2-3 toast maker). If you like the drinks strong, this is the stall to go to. Toast slices from white bread and at least they give a reasonable amount. They help you to crack the soft boil egg and put pepper+ sauce. In a takeaway cup.
Price point slightly below toastbox (I feel that is high considering it is only for takeaway).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The traditional freshly brewed coffee is worth the money paid. Toast bread is crispy and yummy. Prices are reasonable and taste good for all food served at Kopi Place. Staff are friendly and fast in serving. Overall is a nice place to have coffee and bread break.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1st visit. Almond milk ($1.60) that tasted super bland. I know i asked for less sweet but it shouldnt taste like flavoured water. I thought maybe the powder still at bottom of cup and hence no taste but nope. I ending up throwing it away. Their competitors had it way better. Wont visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cashier don't even know who came first; always give priority to people who came later with the same order. Not once, but happened twice. The soft-boiled eggs had a few issue. Before was giving too much soy sauce, or don't give spoon when didn't check then give spoon when checked upon. Now the issue is the eggs are barely cooked. I don't even know what Bernard is doing? Please QC your staffs, thanks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During the SMM, we had always called the shop to order kopi.
Even since SMM lifted, we tried to called & order for kopi, the man told us rudely they are very busy & no time to take orders.
So ungrateful of them with us supporting them so long, had decide to go Killney, Fun Toast or Ya Kun Etc for better service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My everyday go to place when I am in office, staff is efficient and fast. I think mostly regulars come here, not much place to sitting but mostly take aways. Coffee is strong and nice.

Lies a bit hidden downstairs at Duo basement (passers-by won‘t see it on their way from MRT to exit), overshaded by the easier to view Killiney but with better coffee, actually. They also give you a large cup. Their toast is quite decent, too. It’s a pity they only got one table, which is mostly taken (more is not allowed, I presume).
