Another Nice JEM here, if you know how to go Queenstown Shopping Centre to get the sport shop, can just cross over to have a Nice traditional Kuehs & Snacks here. It will be daily made fresh for customers, so you much check before visit, else sold out for the day. Some many of such traditional SME left nowaday. Please get some for your grandparents to hear their old school story ......

Wonderful AKK especially for sesame paste. The other ones are nice too. Tried their savoury kuehs and thumbs up for the ones with yam fillings and chive. Overall all the kueh skins are soft. Reasonably priced.

Love the old style ang ku kueh (bought yam, salted mung bean, black sesame & peanut, recommend the first 3 flavors) which tastes unique albeit in a good way, outer skin is chewy, has a richer & more complex taste, & not as sweet as other stores. Will be back for more & to try other kuehs :D

They use curry puff mold to shape their Soon Kuehs. Although fillings are much but the turnips are rather course and that is for $14 for a box of 5. They have different coloured Ang Ku Kuehs and same $14 for a box of 6. However they do not allow customers to have it in a box of assorted together. Only prefer their Ku Chai Kuehs, chives with tiny shrimps, $9 for a box of 5. Overall find their kuehs are rather expensive. The shop close on every Mondays.

may 2022 $1.10 each looks good from the outside. But inside, the skin is very thick and the filing is mix with flour or other starch. Won't be back again.

Turnip kueh ่Š’ๅ…‰็ฒฟ should be their signature as it comes in a box with their logo. But the turnip is cut pretty big and not very soft. If you like crunchy turnip, this is the one. Was told the box is rice kueh ้ฅญ็ฒฟ, came home and found that it is chicken sausage rice kueh ่…Šๅ‘ณ้ฅญ็ฒฟ. Didn't know there are 2 different kinds. Taste average. Got leek kueh ้Ÿญ่œ็ฒฟ, this is the best of all. Recommended. Worst of all is the ang ku kuehs ( both peanut and green bean) . I suspect the ones I got is the leftover from the day before as the imprint on the kueh is almost gone and it is the worst among all. Strongly not recommended.

Old school shop that offers a good variety of Teochew and Hainanese kueh. The Ang Ku Kueh alone is available in eight flavours including green bean, coconut, salty bean, peanut, yam, red bean, durian and black sesame. The fillings were generous but the skin is not as chewy as I like it to be. Overall prices are on the high side. Also, service can be friendlier.
