Bought Bao with filing but shockingly more than half of the Bao was just FLOUR. Absolutely atrocious. Product offerings are more expensive than other Bao shops too. Will not buy again.

I absolutely love this place. The crew is friendly and parking is convenient. Pop by on holidays or Sundays with the family. They also have seating right next door. A family for dim sum say $15 and drinks add another $10? And you'll have the perfect bfast to Yum Cha at half the price with better service and ambience. On the food reviews everyone has an opinion, and dim sum tastes different depending on where you grew up from. So seriously if you haven't tried it. You're seriously missing out.

Chinese man in the stall was very impatient with me when i was trying to clarify some stuff, kept rushing me ignoring my question even tho there was no queue. Only the young cashier boy was able to properly reply to my questions.

You can find very traditional bao here. The taste has changed over the years but they manage to keep the traditional taste. The skin of the bao is very soft and the baoโ€™s ingredient is very tasty. Try the dai bao (large steamed bun), cha siu bao (barbecue pork filled bun) and the siu mai (shumai, Chinese dumplings). Have them piping home to truly enjoy the traditional taste.

Good Pau honestly, I agree with one of them, the redbean Pau flour to filling ration is atrocious, but the char siew and pork is still worth the spent. Pau flour to filling ratio is really good unlike those you buy at your kopitiam. Worth my $1 or $2.

Traditional pau that i have eaten since young. Quality is still good though it evolved over time to suit modern taste. Cha siew pau still have the BBQ Pork fragrance. It's definitely worth buying.

@tiongbahru.pau for simple and comfort Char Siew Bao. A basic petite size with not overly sweet char siew filling encased in a delicious outer fluffy bun. And is has the quite perfect bun to filling ratio. Ig: @zoey_belle_

Best char siew pau in Sg - no doubt. Pau is fluffy and airy, filling is sweet and delicious. Get a few for the road!
