La Grigne Patisserie - 33 Erskine Rd

I happen to passby at Maxell Road and saw this shop La Grigne Pastisserie. I peep from the glass door, I cannot resist seeing all the patisserie....OMG....I bought some home cos its so beautiful. Worth buying cos the cost is below my budget....haha. I eat the crossaints immediately in the car....I swear....its so yummy than any other popular bakery shop. I highly recommend La Grigne Patisserie. I shall come back every Saturday to top up my stock.....yummyyyy yummmmmy.....even when its cold, the pastry still crispy

Light airy croissant...Never seen so high. Specifically had the frangipani, great flavour with a hint of miso...Great idea! Selection of other savoury and sweets looks good too, many for all different tastes. And yes you can buy 1 item if you like...seems negative reviews paint a bad picture but see any issues, regardless of how many items you want to buy. Payment: Credit card (paywave), NETS, Cash

Their mentaiko salmon croissant was one of the best I've ever tasted, which is why I'm giving 5 stars for that alone!! Really large buttery croissant with a chunk of actual salmon and good deep flavour - can't wait to be back.

An accidental find when I came to Maxwell Market. Walked past and saw the 2 guys in. This small shop busy working on their bakes at 9am. It is a take away shop. I guess they should be decent since they have baked a lot for a weekend ( and CBD is a dead town on Saturday). They started online and decided to start a physical shop so that people can see them baking. Since then I had went back 3 times. Have yet to finish trying all the stuff. If u are a first timer, try chocolate lava croissant ( sweet) or salmon mentaiko croissant ( savory). Singapore humid weather does not do justice to croissant. Good to eat them immediately when they are out from The bake or reheat 160degC / 5 min in airfryer to restore its crispness. Their croissants are fluffy ( that’s why the sizes are huge) and not oily. A good alternative to Petit Pan which has a long Q. I guess they have yet to be uncovered. ?

Small shophouse bakery counter carrying a variety of interesting flavors and bakes styles. Experienced shop owner puts care into choosing flavors and offerings. I tried the raisin orange cream cheese muffin and found the texture of the muffin top a bit like a cruffin, slightly crusty and nice, with a large dollop of cream cheese. Working down into the vanilla muffin base was citrus infused in the center and juicy raisins throughout each bite. The toblerone pretzel lives up to is name with a snacks pretzel and rich chocolate in the dough and on top.

So I saw that their croissants are highly raved and gave it a try. Verdict: Worst croissant I've ever had. Salmon Mentaiko is too salty, like it took a bath in salt. The salmon inside is small, not freshly cooked. I was also charged $1 for a small plastic bag, and I wasn't even told it costs $1. So sneaky. I am never coming back. Not worth my money. There are better croissant shops out there

Cute little shop selling exquisite looking pastries and muffins. Got their orange muffin and while I was going to take a bite in the shop the owner kindly ordered to warm it up for me saying it will taste better and it’s YUM indeed. Good quality, reasonable priced and a friendly owner what not to like? Highly recommend!
