★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had , everything is basically batter , onion rings hardly any onion , fish is 70% batter . Heart disease on a plate , surly they can do better . Seating is bench seats , I know it’s fast food but McDonald’s is ten times more comfortable. The owners spend so much money on rent and overheads why not serve food that is reasonable on a comfortable seat . I will never go to this restaurant again . The first picture as you can see is the batter we left behind almost 80 % of the meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crispy and light batter, with juicy fish . Fries were good too. The only thing that’s stopping me from giving 5 stars is how pricy they sell drinks. $4 for a can of coke! And no glass of ice either. Don’t recall seeing the price for drinks , didn’t know it cost so much. It’s an outrage. Wouldn’t order drinks next time. Not worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the large fish and chips ($29), scotch eggs ($12) and small bangers and mash.
Bangers and mash was quite good. Liked the gravy and potatoes. Bangers were quite flavorful. Scotch egg was not bad but maybe not worth $12 for 1 egg.
Fish and chips was quite disappointing, more so for the price paid. Like the other reviews, the batter was quite oily and dense and kind of overwhelmed the fish which was pretty good when eaten separately. Would have liked a lighter and more airy batter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So glad this place opened up closer to home. The fish and chips can’t be beat, I loved the bangers and mash, and tons of beers to chose from. Picnic table seating outdoors is one of my favourites. Will definitely come back here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A casual restaurant that offers British fare such as Fish & Chips, Bangers & Mash, Scotch Egg and Scampi. Food were reasonably priced and of pretty good quality (but not outstanding). Batter of the fish was crispy but was disjointed with the meat. The haddock was a bit tasteless. There were lots of craft beers in the fridge but only one type of beer (Peroni, maybe replace this Italian with a British?) on tap. Price of beer was not competitive - $10/ half pint, $14/pint, no Happy Hour.
The benches were comfortable. There were even beach chairs for you to enjoy cars passing by. It would be perfect if this eatery was located by a water body at not at a cross junction.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Less is more, two mains on offer (fish & chip, banger & mash) plus scotch eggs and scampi being the others on offer.
Did brunch time takeaway so didn't stay for too long, place is well decorated, airy with the help of multiple fans, pets friendly (4 doggies while I was waiting for my order).
Portion wise, order both mains, regular not upsized, bit disappointed with portion size for the price, but taste wise it's par for the course.
The move from Maxwell and the focus on offering beers and G&T as well definitely help making this a worthwhile place to hang out, if you are in the vicinity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their batter is amazing. So crispy and crunchy. Very thick but airy without feeling too greasy at the same time. Got the Fish & Chips and Oyster Nuggets, which were absolutely delicious. The service is fantastic too. They’re still working out some kinks as it’s newly opened but it doesn’t affect the great overall experience. And the decor is lovely. It’s also dog friendly!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem!
Fresh, flakey halibut fillet dipped in crunchy batter fried to perfection. As they do not offer other fish choices, they do make up in perfecting the frying time for each fillets ate.
With sides of tartar sauce and green pea mash, nestled beneath are a good potion of fries.
Had other dishes in the menu and generally are good! Scampi are fresh too and juicy, bangers are salted but compliment well with the mash and sauce. Egg is divine but felt a bit cold due to the presentation.
The are good to provide malt vinegar which offers a great tangy flavour to the dish.
I felt short as it will be nice to have chips as an option.
Drink selections are mainly alcoholic beverages like ciders, beers, flavoured chillers. Wish that there are more choices in beverage.
Seating space is cozy and well ventilated. But benches felt flimsy as it arches when more than 2seats in one bench.
Parking is limited but overall still available during my few visits.
Definitely a must go for Fish and Chips!
