Hands down my favourite porridge. Simple, delicious, youtiao fried to perfection, super crispy. Have eaten here countless times because they never fail to deliver. Highly recommended!

Nice Congee, the you tiao pair well with the congee. Try our the fish slice congee, taste good but the amount of fish slice given is little and small piece. Stall owner is kind to bring the congee to me when he see that I am with my small baby.

I have been a frequent consumer of their porridge but today I witnessed the stall keeper picking up the container for takeaway from the floor (the stack dropped on the floor) and trying to use them for my order without washing. When I approached him about it, I was told this is from the upper stack but subsequently he took a new one for the customer behind. Enraged, I approached him again and finally he changed the container for me. Disappointed as this stall has a hygiene level A.

Congee was good. Had the century egg and lean pork congee. Just the right texture and taste. Did not expect to get a you tiao so that was a nice touch, but the you tiao wasn't good.

Had the mixed pork congee. Selling for $5. Let's start off with the good stuff. The fried you tiao is crispy and nice. So that is good. Now the not so good stuff. The pork meat is soft and tasty which is good. The liver is cooked okay but still have a bit of the funny taste in it. There is supposed to be intestine in it too but I cannot find any or it is so small that I missed it... hahaha.. I find the portion of ingredients inside it is on a small side for $5. I can find mixed pork congee at similar price with 2x the ingredients. Now for the disappointing portion. For congee the most important is of course the congee itself. It is very smooth which is a plus. However, it lacks taste. It just didn't do anything to me except of the nice smooth texture. This is the reason why I give 3 stars.
