★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is good but owner is racist and prefers to serve customers of his own race first despite the next customer making the same order a full 5 minutes after me. Had the cheek to tell me "not enough for both" and made me wait till the next batch.
Not the first time this has happened.

This $8 portion is generous and holds a bevy of squid, pork belly, 3 medium-large sized prawns. Even the egg wash was done perfectly.
The stock is full of crustacean flavor and a mild sweetness. It leans towards the soupy version with a hint of wok-hei. A review mentioned similarity to a Toa Payoh outfit which I agree.
The sambal belacan is addictive. Pork lard is upon request which was like a crackling.
This is an excellent plate of hokkien mee, which IMO, rivals amongst the best. I am surprised how little coverage it gets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paid $3 for a packet of black carrot cake. The carrot cake was full of wok hei and flavourful. However, it was slightly too sweet for me. Service was not so orderly as 1 auntie came to complained having to wait quite long and threatened to cancel her order. Only after that, the lady stall keeper started to cook her fried oyster.
