Very impressed with the excellent service although i was browsing for non slip Bathroom tiles. The Shop staff gave me 3 samples to test. Definitely getting my tiles from LianSeng in a few months time when i get my own tiles for HDB upgrading

Please be warned. I took delivery of tiles from LSH a few days ago. There were broken tiles and the packaging was wet, decayed and teeming with termites. I asked that they take back the tiles and give me a refund, which they did. But before that, their representative confessed to me that 1. In their warehouse, many of the tiles are stored outdoors, subject to all nature’s elements. 2. Termites are a common problem in their warehouse. Even their office has termites. 3. It is not their practice to check their tiles before delivery. 4. The damaged, termite-infested packing was really obvious for all to see. They were really trying to pass off, hoping that we would accept it without checking. 5. When they came to take the damaged tiles back to their warehouse, I told them to get rid of the damaged, termite-infested tile and should not try to sell it off to someone else. But their representative there told the driver to cover up the tiles while they were being transported back as there was light rain at that time. This leads me to fear that they do plan re-sell it. 6. I went onto their website and sent an enquiry for an email address of a General Manager, but they have not replied. They really do not value their own reputation.

Had a very pleasant experience at Lian Seng Hin (Balestier) yesterday. Went there to look for kitchen and bathroom tiles for my mum’s upcoming renovation. I was prepared to spend 1 to 2 hours to look through as that was what I experienced at 2 different tile companies previously. Upon entering the shop premises, I was greeted by a cheerful staff by the name of Hui Shing. She asked if she could assist in any way and I showed her some pics of the kitchen tiles I’m interested in. Her knowledge of tiles meant she was able to identify very quickly a few possible close matches within a matter of a few minutes. She also explained how lighting could have played a part in how the tiles showed up in the pics. She quickly came up with a few suggestions upon hearing the kind of tiles I’m looking to use in the bathroom. Without me having to say anything, she made a shortlist of all the tiles I expressed an interest in and proceeded to line up the various tiles for me to better visualise if the colour combination worked. Wow! She has really taken very good care of her customers and represented the company well. Her efficiency and knowledge meant that I was done within 30 minutes. Originally I had planned to visit another tile shop but my experience with her meant my shopping can now stop. Thank you Hui Shing!! ??

The customer service was really easy going and informative. Wide range of affordable tiles for all use, i.e. floor; wall, featured wall. Evan did a great job to give suggestion and was helpful in the selection process. Thank you. ??

The service is good. I am pleased with it. However I felt that the showroom can be better. 1) Its too small. Feels like there is a limited range to select. It would be quite sad for those who went there for the first time and think these are all they got. But actually they are more than that. During my visit, I was disappointed that I couldn't find a tile that is 60/30 that I like or similar to the big tile design that we like. 2) Some of the tiles on the floor are popping. Giving it a not smooth and elegant experience. Maybe try to fix that. 3) Because the area is small they try to different tiles to set up a sample of how it looks like in the toilet for you to see. Which is great but messy. As you have to see really carefully from the tiles beside as they might be different in design. I found the floor tiles to be quite alright in range. Anti slip ratings helps. But the details a little confusing. Like they put "Acid Wash" but its actually the opposite meaning. No acid wash. The prices looks quite standard I would think. Looking forward to see the bigger showroom.

Proactive and yet not pushy at all. The sales staff was able to recommend the different types of tiles for different rooms in the house, and advising us of the pros and cons. Though a much smaller space compared to their flagship store in Eunos, this store here is good enough for us, with a few small mock ups as well.
