Ang ku kueh was below average. Skin and ingredients were hard. The price of $1.20 per ang ku kueh is on the high side. You can get one for 90 cents down the road.

How much is per piece ? 1) box of 10 Ang Gu kueh 2) 1 small box of mini assorted flavours Ang Gu Kueh 3) 1 box of 3 Soon Kueh 4) 1 small box of odeh odeh 5) 1 small box of gultinous rice Soon Kueh is very nice Ang Gu Kueh - Peanuts and Salted Green Beans flavour are the best for me. Odeh Odeh is special, different from the norm Just price wise not clearly stated.

The best AKK I had. Various variety and the skin is so yummy. Not too sweet (except the peanut option), and I really like it. You should try the mini version. I was told it was made for the late LKY when he had craving for AKK

Great tasting Ang Ku Kueh without the Queue!! I have been buying from this shop for the last one year and my kids love it’s make. They make Ang Ku Kueh at the shop itself. Usually no queue which is great and to me just as good as the ones at Alexandra and Everton

The Ang Ku Kueh skin is rather thin! They have mini versions which you can get to try a their 10 flavours! Uncle was very friendly too!

Felt like I was taken back to the 1950s when I found this shop. The selection of kueh (cakes) is limited because they actually specialize in ang ku kueh and do it really well. The ang ku kueh is not super sweet unlike the ones at Tiong Bahru Galicier, neither is the green bean filling smelly like Bengawan Solo's. The skin of the ang ku kueh is nice, thick and chewy like a delightful Japanese mochi. When the skin tastes so good, you don't want a "thin skin" ang ku kueh like Poh Cheu's. I am so happy I found this golden gem of a Chinese confectionery. The gingerbread pig was so well-made, instead of factory-minted ones, I just had to get one. The gentleman which I assume is the store owner since he was chatty unlike the others, is super friendly and even wore a bright yellow shirt which felt sunny and tropical and perhaps highlighted his multi-color wares - a total of 11 different flavours of ang ku kueh to choose from. The coffee, coconut and yam flavour which was subtle, stood out for me. The grated coconut chunks are fresh, juicy and not too sweet. Personally, I dislike grated coconut but this one changed my mind! Ladies and gentleman who are conscious of their sugar intake should try these ang ku kueh, surprisingly not as sweet as many other competitors'.

The Ang Ku Kueh skin is very soft and thin and fill with lots of fillings. Around 10 different flavors, consider quite a wide range to choose from.

Traditional Chinese food, homemade, taste is nice, but overrated. Some other places got same food and price is cheaper. This stock one kuih is 1.20,normal price found is 0.80,but this store got a lot of favour. And tastes is same. But of course if you are around there, just try it.
