★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the lunch set and got the pork chop rice set option. Not the most authentically Vietnamese but it had a nice local twist to it with the added bak choy. The fresh spring rolls were great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hubby and son liked the beef pho, spring roll was ok but the sauce could do with more tang. Their chicken bun Cha tasted different from others I’ve tried, the usual sauce is chilli, vinegar, lime, chopped chilli and garlic with lots of marinated vegetables as well as herbs but the version here is served with its own concoction of vegetable broth, I somehow prefer the other versions over theirs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing eel porridge and bun cha! The ambiance is lovely and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The portions are extremely generous and the food very reasonably priced. I 100% recommend coming here for your Vietnamese fix! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple Vietnamese fare done right. Nothing life-changing, although it does satisfy your craving for that authentic Vietnamese taste. I think the price is reasonable. Showed the bill for the items I ordered and will let you decide if you agree with me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tucked in a corner of a HDB block, this gem serves authentic Vietnamese food. I love their beef pho! Affordable, tasty, and generous.
As this is a very small shop, with only about 5-6 tables, do avoid peak peak hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food, lovely decor. We had the freshwater eel porridge, pork bun cha, and the fried spring rolls.
Porridge can feed two people and isn't something you can find at other Vietnamese restaurants. Has a lovely golden hue and is well-seasoned.
Bun cha was comparable to some of the best I've had in Hanoi. Meatballs were the star.
I'm so full right now. Going to retreat into my food coma.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ friend bought 4pax dinner @ hoang hau, a restaurant he owns..
very good dishes..
the lobster bun, a newly created dish, was the bestest! live Boston lobster very fresh & nicely done, so sweet & tender..not rubbery..
the sauce quite unique, seems not the usual bun cha dip/drip sauce, nutty from brown butter & lobster tomalley..bun (beehoon) nicely infused..
banh seo seafood pancake was very good too..one of the best I had ..with belly pork & prawn & veg filling..
the Vietnamese crisp roll with pork good too
the pho soup was tasty..as 2 friends commented & I concur, broth was very robust & quite a tad sweet..maybe a different preparation & nice in its own way too..but preference is a 清清lighter, natural meat sweetness broth with lots of herb

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure this is authentic Vietnamese.
When I came here, the place was almost full but I managed to get a seat. They didnt have bread rolls in stock so all banh mis were off the menu. Ordered the vinaigrette pork chop rice and the pork bun cha. The food was served very quickly, like in under 5mins.
The pork chop rice flavours were good but pork was a bit dry. I suspect everything is largely cooked and just assembled when ordered as opposed to cook to order. The rice is also no authentic Vietnamese but to be fair, it was tasty.
