★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To "judge" a Thai foods store, the very first things will be try their "pad Thai... If this "basic" foods n they didn't get it right then there no point to continue... Unfortunately it happened to this newly store that open at BLK 25 bedok south coffee shop... Will not recommend further when they fail at the basic... N it doesn't come cheap too... Chicken / pork pad Thai at $6.50, prawn at $7.00...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chance upon this Stall inside the coffeeshop at blk 25 new upper Changi road. If i didnt remeber wrongly, the previous stall was selling fishball noodle. Its the 2nd day of CNY and they were one of the few stalls that were operating. There wasnt any queue, and managed to order upon reaching. They sell quite a wide variety of dishes from stir fry basil chicken/pork to thai boat noodle. They even have mookata.
For me, a thai food stall, the stir fry basil dish is usually the bench mark. Ordered their stir fried chicken basil rice which comes with an egg. Their basil chicken tasted not bad, but on the dry side. Its was a little oily, sunny side egg was spot on as the edges was crispy.
Overall, decent thai food and might come back again to try their other dishes.
