I’ve been visiting this clinic for the last 3.5years. Very thorough, patient and friendly staff. Diagnosis is sharp - the doctor with his calm demeanour is quite involved and professional..

Dr Chong has been my family doctor since 2017, when he started his own clinic, after being at Raffles Hospital A&E for 6 years. I bring my friends, aunties, relatives to see Dr Chong for their medical problems. In times of emergency, when the clinic is not in operation, often on Public Holidays, Dr Chong will make an effort to come back to clinic to attend to myself or my aunt who suffers from asthma attacks. Charges for ordinary consultations and emergency consultations are very reasonable, especially emergency consultation fee which i believe is so reasonable nowhere else one can find. Dr Chong also has the patience to explain conditions and treat them carefully. Having been in A&E at Raffles for a long while, he has the experience to treat many illnesses which some GPs may turn away. Dr Chong also takes house-calls which he charges very reasonably. Just have to call the clinic number and it will be diverted to his mobile, in times when the clinic is not opened. Even at midnite. Dr Chong also has a vast network of specialist he knows whom he will refer to for illnesses that requires specialist treatments.

My sister-in-law's has been seeing Dr Chong for quite sometime. Older folks need more patience from the Dr, as such, they found that at Livewell Clinic because Dr Chong has the patience to deal with these older folks. Also a wide range of medicines are available at this clinic.

I visited this clinic today, and it is a very horrible experience. I saw the TraceTogether of a patient, with showing he may exposed to COVID-19, and the older receptionist (2 receptionists) ask him waiting outside the door. I heard the receptionists saying β€œhe should go raffles hospital instead here but he doesn’t know”. When the patient came in again, the older receptionist asked young one going to other room. I got panic, and I asked her β€œdo I need to do something”, she said β€œno worries just stay here”. When that β€œCOVID exposed” patient left, another patient walked in and next queue was me. Luck to me, since she needed to send the my x-ray result to doctor, she went in first and sanitized doorknob. I realized that she did that for her sake only and put the patient before me at risk. SHE DID NOT CARE PATIENTS AT ALL! I swear she changed five pairs of gloves during my waiting time (30 minutes). Every patient should think twice before visiting this clinic. UPDATE I receive the call from the doctor he told me that patient get vaccinated in china, so there was a misunderstanding. But the attitude of reception staffs is still a problem. After all, all the patients want to and should be treated gentle and nice, and have a elaborated answer when they ask, rather than after posting a critical review of the clinic.

I had such a good experience the doctor was really patient at explaining things and very thoughtful about diagnosis. He even advised me not to get extra tests. The front desk is also extremely efficient. Great value for money and nearby!

Nurse was so rude. Obv I’m sick when I visit so my voice wasn’t there and she rudely said she can’t hear. Asks stupid question like why are you here obviously to see the doctor right

Went here for PCR tests. They are very helpful and the doctor even reached out to me personally to ensure I received the PCR results in time before my flight. The swab procedure might be a bit uncomfortable so prepare a tissue or two.

My child had an allergic reaction and I had messaged the clinic asking if it was possible to visit the doctor- he responded immediately online (about 2 hours before their closing time). The doctor saw us after we had registered (before other patients who had arrived earlier) to help us rule out the need for further treatment at the hospital. Thankful to Dr Chong and his staff for the reassurance and friendly service.
