Best Bar in Singapore

R	Rachel Luyi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never thought to try out this bar as I was always a little intimidated by it but glad I finally did it. We got seated in a small and very private corner, making it perfect for hush talk and intimate moments. Even though it blocked our view of the entire room and was a potential blind spot for the staff, service was prompt and amazing. There was something so relaxing and cozy about the interior, maybe it's the slow swinging fans but time seems to slow down here and the dimness of the lights were just right. Drinks were a little pricey but that's expected for a premium place.
J	Jaemoon Park on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seems that almost all customers in this bar are foreign tourists. Due to popularity that Singapore Sling origins here, they ordered Singapore Sling. A little bit expensive, but I think it's responsible if you consider here is located in 5-star hotel.

The elegant colonial vibes, cast-iron Sling Shaker, and automated flapping fans made our 40-minute wait well worth it. I much prefer the original Singapore Sling to their Christmas cocktails, only because I like tasting alcohol in my alcoholic beverages, and their festive drinks paled in that department. At least to me. They seemed short on staff but no biggie, our server in a beige vest handled it all with grace despite a busy evening. It appeared as though only 1-2 guys were running a full floor and entrance. How do they do it?

Worthy of a visit to experience the iconic Singapore sling in the very bar it was created in and experience what it would have been like to drink at this bar in the colonial times. They also have a raucus mechanical cocktail mixer , which when asked politely, the bar tender will perform a demonstration with the next drinks order. Prices have gone up since i was last here 3 yrs ago, with the cocktail being around $43 sgd all in with service charge & gst added in.
D	Derek Mathieson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally got a chance to enjoy the original Singapore Sling at Long Bar! The place feels high-end with colonial charm. The automated fans flapping were a nice touch. We like the drinks here as they had a good variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Moreover, they used almond milk instead of regular milk so the drinks are vegan-friendly.

This place is well knowns for Singapore sling but they also offers plenty menu of amazing cocktail. They served only cocktail and nuts here, no appetizer or food available here. Price is quite high but really worthy.

A must visit on most first time tourist visit lists to Singapore, this bar is also the birthplace of the famous Singapore Sling. For a bit of history and ambience and some good cocktails, people are recommended to wait in line to get a table at Long Bar. Walk ins are welcome, but the wait can get prett long sometime. It is also the only place in Singapore where littering is encouraged. Do ask the bar tender or server for the story behind that. Always a favourite to take visiting friends to. However we enjoy the hotels bar in the Courtyard more.
T	Taro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried their signature Singapore Sling. The most expensive drink I've ever had at 43.5$SGD. The "service fee is 10%". Not cool in my opinion. It's good to try once in a lifetime but I wouldn't come here to drink Singapore Sling on a frequent basis due to the price. The drink does taste good and there's peanuts provided for each table. The staff were friendly and alert. The bartender has a sense of humour which is appreciated.
