Good quality meat grilled over a charcoal fire. I tried the Renga-Ya platter which was enough for 2. Fire was strong enough to cook the meat quickly without overcooking it. Fresh oysters were so plump and juicy without the being overly β€œoceany” - good quality seafood which I was not expecting from a Japanese grill restaurant.

Really enjoyed eating here. Zero smoke/smell despite using charcoal, attentive service, and delicious meat. We tried the Wagyu Harami ($24 for 80 grams) and Wagyu Karubi ($24 for 80 grams) which were great. The third platter we tried was one of their best sellers, but was not as good. The garlic beef fried rice was also tasty and not overly garlicky. I’ll return soon to try more dishes.

Excellent quality flavourful and fragrant meat. We kept it simple after trying the wagyu karubi, tritip and harami. Selected karubi and tritip as the go-to multiple portions. Service is good, they are attentive. Overall highly recommended.

Great food and service! Mario took his time to explain the menu as it's our first time visit. We are glad to find this place whenever there is a craving for good grilled beef.

Overall the quality of meat was very good and service was quick and on point. We had the Omi Sawai Hime Wagyu Platter and added the ribeye. All items were well cut and portions were good. The only thing to note is they turned the fire way down in the beginning so our first two items took a long time to cook and were not as charred. We asked to turn the fire up and everything else turned out great.

Comfortable setting, you don’t smell like bbq after that which is great. Got the set and added on a couple of things - tuna tartare, pork jowl and beef tongue. The set was good but the cuts were all a bit fatty so we got full quickly. Overall pretty good!

Place can get crowded very quickly so best make a reservation. They use very good quality charcoal so it’s perfect for the beef. Ventilation is great and doesn’t get smoky like other yakiniku restaurants in CHIJMES. Quality of food is also much better although the prices are slightly higher. A much better dining experience than most other similar restaurants.

We brought our daughters for birthday celebration and the food made everyone very satisfied. My girl finished all her meat & full bowl of rice. Children get to eat well least to say adults =) , i would say worthwhile since everyone enjoy it! . She said meat was so tender she doesn't need to bite and meat melts in the mouth! The ambience is pleasant and comfortable If you make early reservation, you can request for the separate partition that let you dine privately. Service is good, they are attentive. Food is served fast. Jeremy gave good food recommendations. Overall highly recommended.
