1 Laksa with 2 prawns
3 Otah
Just finished the laksa, priced more than order onsite. Gravy is flavorful. Prawns are decent sized, peeled with heads.
The cockles (See hum) is fresh and not dry
Will be onsite to order soon. Otah will be eaten later, so no review yet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loon Laksa is truly a culinary gem located in the unsuspecting streets of Bedok. Granted, I am no famous food reviewer but I found the meal too exceptional to pass up a review.
Laksa revolves around three fundamentals - noodles, gravy and the general toppings. However, Loon's Laksa takes this up another notch by introducing another element - crayfishes. This was a feat only successful if the dish was strong in its fundamentals. The gravy was exceptional, with a slight hint of coconut milk amidst its flavourful spices. The noodles, cooked to perfection and al dente. The hum, as the storeowner puts it, designed to 'warm the cockles of your heart'. Put these together - on top of the Michelin-starred crayfish - you get a simple yet heartfelt bowl of laksa.
To note, the crayfish laksa was a cheeky addition to the 'secret menu', do follow @26loonlaksa and contact the storeowner should you wish to have this food-gasming experience as I did. Otherwise, the usual bowl of laksa is enough to take your breath away (i.e. only $3-4 iirc!).
Truly one of the best laksa I've had in a long time that compelled myself to emerge from the shadows of the internet and write this review. Kudos to Loon's Laksa!
