Had my surgery on the 22nd of June 2021, and so far I don't have any side effects other than very minor case of dry eyes. Recovery time was at most 1 week for me. The first two days I slept it off, so I didn't notice any major discomfort. Lights are slightly glaring at night, but not uncomfortable. Rest of the days it's mostly resisting the urge to rub / touch my eyes and be diligent in putting eyedrops. The nurses were professional, friendly and efficient. I went through thorough eye examinations before Dr. Eugene Tay gave the green light for me to go through the surgery. The process was a little scary - you can see the flaps of your cornea being peeled back. So that was interesting. But both the doctor and the nurses were super supportive and encouraging. Procedure was painless, and I was able to see well immediately after. I had no one with me, so the nurse kindly walked me down to the taxi stand. (Felt like a superstar with my trendy sunglasses they provided). Definitely a whole new world post-op and I have no regrets. I recommend this clinic should you need to get your LASIK done.

Honestly, the experience I had at LSC was better I could have ever imagined! Starting from the pre-surgery consult (which was sooo informative and staff were not pushy at all, plus, only $27!) all the way to the surgery itself, I felt 100% safe and comfortable. They provided me with the various options for my conditions and gave lots of advice on how to take care of my eyes best to reassure me that everything would be ok! I even got hiccups right before my surgery (probably cos I was nervous) and Martin kindly distracted me and gave me water so I would feel more calm!!! It might seem like such a small thing but it really helped :) Dr Marc Tay was very professional and during the surgery he constantly reassured me that I was doing the right thing and even “counted down” for me. The surgery was painless and recovery was thankfully OK beyond a few hours of discomfort (which I slept off!) The BEST thing about LSC is that they are always contactable via WhatsApp or the phone! I have sent multiple queries as I am super paranoid and they always get back to me ASAP on what I can do to alleviate my situation! I would recommend LSC to anyone that is interested in laser eye procedures!!!!! :) My brother in law went as well and was extremely happy with the entire process as well!!!

Did Lasik + Lasik Xtra (upon recommendation from doctor) at LSC. Staff and Dr Marc Tay have been extremely professional since day 1, from the thorough pre-op eye check, surgery and post op checks. Dr Marc Tay was very reassuring and knowledgeable. He explained clearly which op procedure was suitable for me and surgery was very smooth. The surgery was fast and painless, and Dr would count down the seconds you need to stare at the light so that I would be assured. Very responsive and helpful staff who would answer my queries and ushered me down to the taxi stand and offered to wait with me until my transport arrived after surgery. Great experience at LSC and would highly recommend!

I can’t even begin to explain how amazing life has been since my LASIK surgery. My surgeon was Dr Marc Tay, who was very kind and patient with his explanations. Not pushy at all and very forthcoming with the pros and cons of each type of vision correction procedure. I also believe in his skills because my eyesight has been beyond perfect! By the second day of the surgery, I was going about as per normal without even needing sunglasses. I could still feel the sides of the flap, but by the fourth day it’s completely gone and really, life has been great. My decision to go with LSC eye clinic was actually because of Martin. Before booking an appointment with LSC, I actually called multiple clinics asking for a quotation and asking some basic questions like “how do I know whether my eyesight has stabilised enough to be suitable for LASIK?” Etc. Most of the clinics gave me very superficial replies like “just come for the eye assessment and only then the doc can advise” but Martin, the optometrist at LSC, was different. He asked for my eye degree history, including my past two spectacle degrees and my contact lens degree and advised me accordingly. He also explained the different options over the phone and estimated the price of my surgery. All this over the phone and without a paid consultation even! This made me trust the clinic enough to book an appointment with them. At the clinic itself, Martin was also really sincere and patient. I had to eat a sleeping pill before the surgery and that made me groggy but Martin took real good care of me (even getting me chocolates to get rid of the bitter taste). Really excellent service and such pleasant staff here! :))) Other than Martin, Calvin was the other optometrist whom I have had some time with. He did my eye assessment tests (about 6-7 machines in total) very patiently! There were some machines that required me to open my eyes big enough and I wasn’t able to but he was very patient and even helped me to open my eyes for one. Really such friendly and helpful staff here :) Just went back for my 1 month check up today and was served by Jia Hui. She addressed all my queries on how to take care of my eyes and has a friendly and cheerful personality! All in all, I have nothing but good reviews for this clinic. Prices are very, very reasonable compared to other clinics and the same day surgery and excellent service plus professionalism of all the staff are major plus points.

I had the RELEX SMILE procedure and I couldn't be happier with the whole process and the results. Dr Marc was definitely a calming presence. He didn't push any specific procedure and carefully explained the nuances between the options. The surgery itself was smooth and easy, especially with his consistent instruction and reassurance. Martin was also very accommodating and answered all our questions. From our initial eye assessment until our post surgery check up, he has always been very attentive. He has made our visits to the clinic a pleasant experience. It is such a joy not to be bound by eyeglasses anymore. Would definitely recommend corrective eye surgery!

I did lasik about a week ago at LSC with Dr Marc Tay. I was referred to them by many of my peers. They have all had positive experiences so I came. I started out doing the eye tests and registration which took about an hour or so. I did lasik on the same day. Honestly quite a bit of waiting in between for my pupils to constrict before I could do lasik. But the actual procedure took like 5-8min or so? Very comfortable with no pain! Was apprehensive at first and didnt know what to expect but Dr Tay was v assuring and swift with his procedure throughout. It’s been a week and I was told my vision is at about 80+% right now, which will slowly become 100% in perhaps a month or two. Honestly everything is already pretty clear. My eyes do get a little dry from time to time, but i swear that it was drier with my contact lenses on in the past. I’ve never left any google reviews before but because it was overall a very positive and life-changing experience therefore I’m leaving a review to hopefully help more people with their decision making process. :)

I did my LASIK two weeks back and the whole process has been seamless. My vision was at - 250 on both eyes, and slight astigmatism on the left eye. Everyone in the clinic has been very friendly and professional. I was quite nervous with going through the procedure but nurse Martin and Kat have been very patient, caring and knowledgeable which helped me a lot to become at ease. Dr Eugene is awesome, I took less than 15mins in the operating table!!! My vision is corrected and everything is vivid now... I feel great, worth every penny! A whole new world indeed! Had an incredible experience at LSC eye clinic. Dr Mark Tay and his team ensured that it was a smooth experience, from the moment I stepped through the door. They were reassuring, professional and speedy in all their assessments. Dr Mark completed my ReLEx SMILE surgery in 15mins and I am now proud to say that I have perfect vision. Lsc staff Kat was also very thorough in her explanation of all the post op meds. Highly recommend this clinic for their superb skills and professionalism.
