Normal Yong Tàu Fu, not sure how was that compared with Ipoh as that is the perception. The stuff ingredients, not sure how much percentage is fish caused I cannot get that texture. The curry Cheong Fun is normal too. The soup is a bit sour, is that normal? $9.50 is way above average.

I love the dry noodle (ipoh lai fun)!! It’s flavourful yet not overly salty! Fried goodies were nicely fried and super crispy! Curry and yong tau foo soup was normal~ overall is a pretty satisfying meal ??

Good Attempt , but the flavor profile not there yet. Doesn’t feel like the Yong Yau Foo is handmade. The fish paste is lacking in flavor. Doesn’t have the QQ-ness. Yong Tau Foo is very lacking in flavor and the fish paste portion. Sar Kok Liu, hmm except the fried flavor, basically tasteless. Taugeh, as expected using Sg skinny taugeh. Not fresh or crunchy enough. Lai Fun ok-ish. Good to try. But not worth to eat it again. If you want to try something that mimic Ipoh noodle and Yong Tau Foo about 20-30 percent, can give it a try. there is still about 70percent lacking compare to original.

Still taste great esp. the lai fun and curry Chee Cheong fun with pig skin. Crowd is less ard 1pm. Shop owner needs to do something about the annoying birds. Hygiene issue later.

I have been craving for MY food especially Lai fun so much. Decided to travel all the way to Geylang and had Lai fun with Yong liu. Not the best but can fix my craving. Total bill is $20.30 for 2 people. We ordered many as you can see in the photo. If some of you are craving for lai fun or Yong liu, should give it a try. Here is the only place I found out in SG selling homemade lai fun.

This KL “tai lok min” - big fat noodle aka KL style Hokkien Mee is full of wok aroma. It’s fried until just a bit dry with pork lard which is the gist for the good flavor. This stall is selling not only this. There are other good food from Malaysia that will be introduced in other post.

Ipoh Curry Chee Cheong Fun with Yong Tau Fu. Ipoh style curry Chee Cheong fun is quite a rare sight in Singapore but this one sells not just that, it also has yong tau fu and other Ipoh delicacies such as the Ipoh beansprout chicken rice!

No benchmark as I've never tried the Ipoh version. Overall the curry is pretty spicy and the Yong tau foo items were pretty standard fare. Items were freshly made and properly fried. Pricing is a little high for such simple food.
