Ms Tan is a dedicated teacher who is passionate about both the academic and personal wellbeing of her students. I cannot recommend Mad4Math highly enough - if you’re looking to boost your grades in a positive environment, Mad4Math is the place to go.

Ms Tan has a gift for breaking down complex mathematical concepts and made my JC math experience really enjoyable (I recall actually looking forward to M4M each week in what were otherwise dark times) I was floundering in the sea of abstract numbers and symbols before I met Ms Tan but under her tutelage and with help from her beautifully drawn notes, I scored an A for H2 maths in the A levels! In terms of organisation, everything from lesson times to content, resources and admin stuff is impeccably run. I graduated from M4M 7 years ago and I still keep in touch with Ms Tan because she's also just a top notch human being!! If you're looking for a place to learn maths and life, look no further!

I had a fairly debilitating fear of Math throughout most of my school years, till I met Ms Tan at Mad4Math! in secondary school. Through a unique blend of patience, kindness and loads of self developed practice papers, Ms Tan helped me see that Math wasn’t the enemy. While complex numbers never really needed my attention after A Levels, numbers at work never bothered me, and a large part of that is because of this wonderful teacher. Many years after Math tuition stopped being a weekly routine, I kept a wonderful, unlikely set of friends who ahem have no qualms in letting me know what they think of my life choices( Vernon Julian Ryan), inspire me with their talent (Cheryl) and a trusted duo of advisors who always look out for me (Eugene Soon & Chyroline Tan). LONG STORY SHORT: if you’re looking for Math Tuition for young humans in your life, you won’t go wrong here!

Came to mad4math after scoring a measly S grade in J1 terms. Ms tan’s meticulous attitude and care helped propelled my math to one of my best subjects throughout JC. I scored consistent As throughout promos and prelims. Ms Tan took the time to explain confusing concepts, improving my understanding in Math. Lesson welfare was good as ms Tan cared for us tremendously, buying for us snacks from time to time. Lessons were vibrant and exciting to go to. I scored an A grade in the end for A levels. Thank u ms Tan :)

Ms Tan is truly a one of a kind teacher. Someone that you never expect to come across in your schooling years, but in a good way. Lessons can be filled with laughter and fun, yet focused and effective. Learning at mad 4 math was one of the best choices I made in my JC life and my only regret was not joining earlier.

Ms Tan's concise explanations of topics clarified any doubts I had, and her bubbly personality is something her students remember her by alongside her expertise in Maths. Coming out of primary school, I had a weak foundation in the subject, but once I started attending lessons at Mad4Math, I started to slowly grasp concepts and reflect my understanding in the work I submitted. Ms Tan's lighthearted nature and occasional jokes added a fresh dose of laughter to lessons, which is why I looked forward to coming for class even after a long day at school. Because of Ms Tan, my confidence in Maths grew and my grade was never short of an A throughout my 4 years in secondary school. In JC, the depth and difficulty of content were greater but Ms Tan consistently relayed the content in ways that were easy to understand and clarified doubts with all her students(inside and outside of lesson hours), even with Covid-19 on the rise. If we encountered questions in class, she'd go over it with us to catch our mistakes, or she'd do the entire question on the spot and show us a different perspective(time-permitting). If outside of class, she'd either text us in-depth explanations for the question or arrange quick 5-10 minute Zoom calls for the more complex questions which required a verbal explanation. Ms Tan adapted quickly to online teaching when the circuit breaker was introduced and kept her students' learning in check despite the many limitations of online learning. Without Ms Tan's help and guidance, I doubt I would've gotten my A in the eventual A Levels. I highly recommend Mad4Math to anyone looking for a highly-qualified Maths tutor with a genuine passion for what she teaches, and will go the extra mile to ensure her students achieve their personal best in the subject.

Math was never really my favourite subject before going to M4M, but Ms Tan really made me mad for math (in the best way possible!!!!). She is hands down one of the best teachers I've ever met. Ms Tan is an extremely dedicated teacher who's very good at knowing each and every one of her students well as an individual, knowing each of their strengths/weaknesses, and what works for them. Her sense of humour and positive vibes also made M4M a really nice, comfortable and enjoyable environment, and I never dreaded going to class. Thanks to her I was able to perform consistently well with As throughout high school and JC :) I highly recommend her if you're looking for a passionate, caring, dedicated, effective, top notch math tutor!!!

Going into upper sec, math was an extremely difficult subject for me to grasp. Between the various formulas to memorise and learning how to apply it all, i was completely lost and on the verge of dropping A math. I joined M4M in the middle of sec 3 and Ms Tan helped me immensely. To say that my grade immediately jumped from an F to an A would be a lie, by all means i was not a model student and Ms Tan would be the first to tell you that she isn’t a miracle worker. My experience and what you can expect from M4M is for your results to steadily improve over time and to enjoy the process. On the personal side, Ms Tan was a caring and adaptable teacher who was able to cater well to all types of students, the type of teacher that you keep in touch with years after graduating. She helped me with math into my JC years and i am extremely thankful for everything she’s done for me. Would recommend to anyone who needs help with math, Ms Tan really is one of the best out there.
