★ ★ ★ ★ ★ first of all, this shop is a very bad place for any aquarium based needs. you must be very desperate to even consider going here
here's why:
1. extremely overpriced and inconsistent pricing, small tip - if you want to save, ask the newest employee, bc they always makeup price on the spot, really entertaining!
2. poor knowledge on reef keeping, scams you into buying the most expensive stuff for no good reason, lacks basic customer service skills (in other words, VERY RUDE)
overall, i would not recommend this place to anyone, and honestly just spoils the good name of tropic marin.
...unless you drive a Ferrari and don't mind getting ripped off...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SAS Anamalai is my favourite LFS to visit. Livestock quality is top notch. Also a special mention to Sherri who consistently demonstrates a Customer @ Heart mindset. Always ready to step up to help a customer even when she’s occupied. Truly appreciate her efficient, diligent and polite nature ??????????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommended go to place for your aquarium needs or starting up a fish tank. What I like about this place is that staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, And they will always accommodate to your needs like deliveries and set ups. Recently bought a tank from them and they have it delivered to me and set up nicely for me! They also specialised in both freshwater and saltwater, So you have a wide variety of stable corals, plants and fishes! for you to choose from. Do visit this shop if you have the chance!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overpriced livestock in general and doesn't even know the price of the fish that they are selling, the fish would be labelled 45 and when I ask the price is 55, then I point to another fish of the exact same species and size it is now 65 lol.
When I point out that they are the same size they back paddle and say actually all the fish of this specie are 65 now and the 45/55 pricing is for tiny sizes that isn't even available(and I have never seen anywhere).
This is obviously making stuff up on the spot as I bought the same fish of similar size for 45 last time,and the 65 dollar ones are much bigger.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want healthy fishes, come here. They quarantine and make sure optimum fish health. Fishes in the tanks are more lively than other lfs. What’s the point of buying slightly cheaper at other lfs and end up causing more issues in your tank? Will gladly return. We need more lfs like this one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are totally new and clueless in setting up a fish tank. Thankfully the staff were really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable! Wide selection of fishes and the price are reasonable. Will definitely go back again to buy the fishes in 3 weeks time.
